I think it is pretty evident that he does not and has not ever loved those kids. He did not want them bc he did not want their mother. He fulfilled what he believed to be his obligations as a father( never missing child support, allowing the boys to tour with him, and providing musical/performing advice) However, when his obligations were “done” he dropped them like a bad habit. From the outside looking in, when it comes to the boys, at least, it seems like he was a good father. However, the way he speaks of them is so cold, and frank. He never says he loves them.
