4:15 he almost said 'I need Rha...' before he change it to '..nothing' and the way he looked at Viserys is like Viserys knew what he meant with no further explanation.

Daemon had paid Qarl(?) to kill Laenor with witnesses. But, we didn’t see the end of that conversation. What we did see, was that Daemon killed or incapacitated someone else in during Laenor and Qarl’s fight. Off screen, after the witnesses left, he had Laenor switch clothes with the imposture and tossed the later into the fire, leaving everyone not privy to Daemon’s scheme to assume that the body was Laenor based on what the witness had called out and the clothes of the victim. The marriage wasnt secret either. We had the Septon to preform and bless the marriage, a Maester to record the marriage, and the witnesses; Rhaenyra’s kids, Baella and her sister, and some others present, I think I even saw some other Valereons present as well in one of the shots. It’s just that this was a private wedding preformed without Viserys’ knowledge or consent.

Tha fact that Viserys call Alicent Aemma was priceless LOL

The boys are not cousins. One set of boys are Rhaenyra's half-brothers (Aegon, Aemon) and the other are her children (Jace, Luce, Joffrey). That makes them nephews/uncles.

Daemon was 100% gonna say Rhaeneyra when Viserys told him he’d give him anything he needed.

This WHOLE episode!!!! Wow!!!! The scene with Vhagar was incredible, bring on the dragons baby!!!

What an emotional roller-coaster. This episode had it all, and it was perfect. Despite the darkness, we were illuminated. Many things we wondered about: Rhaenyra and Leanor REALLY tried. They didn't just go around with other partners. They tried to do their duty to the parents and the realm. I loved their relationship. their friendship. I love the plan Leanor, Rhaenyra and Daemon came up with. Leanor deserved a chance at happiness. I loved the cryptic language referencing the sea and fire. Whether we find it distasteful or not, Daemon and Rhaenyra are would mates. Even to their destruction. Now we know why Daemon faltered before. I'm glad their love scene was tender. It felt like a homecoming for both people who had felt abandoned all their lives. Aemond is a little rogue! I wished he and Jace had spoken or hugged. But their faces said it all. It was very emotional. I didn't see Jace's facial expression as rejecting Aemond. There was just pain. Amusing how Aemond got his dragon and Vaghar testing him. "Let's see what you've got, little boy." Brave soul. I hated that he reverted to his upbringing, insulting two mourning little girls (and hitting them and likening them to a pig) and a mourning boy. We could talk nature vs. nurture all week long. Helena is an angel. And in this episode, I felt compassion for Alicent - because she was finally forced to be honest. It must be hard to face yourself. The producers outdid themselves.

I’ve seen 5 reviews of this episode. And you’re the first to point out that the King called Alicente, Emma! I was wondering how some people missed it.

Was I the only one screaming at the screen when the kids were fighting. If Aemond hadn't been blatantly disrespectful to the girls about the death of their mother the situation would not have escalated. He comes off as more mature thar Aegon but it's pretty clear he can be just as callus as his mother. I'm kind of disappointed in the manner in which Daemond seemed to be so non-chalant and did not comfort his girls. We got a chance to see his soft side and it would have been nice to see moment between them.

Thank You for avoiding spoilers, You are someone who is clearly very passionate about the story, yet you can control yourself enough not to give out spoilers, there is one other i have tried to watch as i liked their game of thrones videos, but they get soooooooo over excited at things, and cant help but let spoilers slip all the time. Luckily i do not have the greatest of memories of late, but the one episode of theirs, they just could not contain themself and blurted out such major major spoilers that i will never forget lol, Thanks again for the spoiler free clear break downs and quality videos.

Both team are already preparing because it's obvious, King Visery's days are numbered. It was intense and heartpumping. The easiest way to sort out the Seasmoke/Laenor bond issue is to have Laenor die off-screen fighting in the Stepstones thus breaking the bond and have Seasmoke going back to Dragonstone until Addam of Hull appears. Those saying that Laenor = Addam are dreaming as that will throw the story of Alyn the Oakenfist and Corlys's bastards into confusion.

I have been enjoying every episode as the season, but boy did things really pick up with the time jump and the transition to the adult actors. Everything feels so tense and personal, and with blood literally being drawn things are going to get grim fast.

The episode had good moments, but I wasn’t a fan of the extreme long pauses and stares during the scene of the funeral. It was just awkward but overall a decent episode. I love the unraveling of these characters. There are just sooo many layers.

I absolutely enjoyed the kids beating Aemon’s ass. He stole Vaghar. I don’t care how badass that was. And then to insult his other cousins calling them bastards crossed the line. Luce was just defending himself and his family

Seems dragonbonding is about mutual respect. If you don't shot fear and you show confidence then the dragon will respect you and allow you to bond with it. Like dogs, it's not the biggest dog that's dominant, it's the oldest/ most dominant one who's alpha.

PersonalIy, I would have been ok with a clever retcon of the incest facet of the story. Idk, "The Maesters exaggerated a few plot points when recording events and information in the history books." There, simple and relatable because most of the old dudes that wrote the Bible spun a TALL ass tale that the majority of the global population believes in one form or another. There was another BIG problem with Daemon and Rhaenyra's Laenor death plan. They killed an innocent servant. They don't care about smallfolk or their death as long as they get to lie and live their best life. Team Black are the good guys huh? Impossible to root for anyone for being wholesome.

Shouldn't Daemon have the most claim regardless what kids Viscerys had? He was disinherited but he is brother to the King so in theory he could have claimed the throne and just gone full Maegor on nieces and nephews. He doesn't appear to want the throne at this point so I don't know. Also since the Hightower's of Old Town were the ones masterminding this whole succession crisis shouldn't that have been the first place they should have targeted? At the very least they could have called in the ancient debt house tyrell owes house targaryen. With High Garden on the blacks side that should theoretically be enough to get the Hightower's to back down and give the greens some pause for thought.
