Marshal where have you been all my life. This is the kind of teaching that I prefer, a teacher that teaches not how to do things but what to look for and how to learn things. I really appreciate this class, been replaying again and again for a month now.

Thank you - I hoped this would help and I appreciate your appreciation. Regarding where I have been all your life? Teaching in classrooms in California, not recording them, and neglecting the likes of you all here. But I hope to be online more often, hence this and Gumroad, and I hope to do more in the coming year. Thanks!

@@MarshallVandruffVideos Looking forward to your future boot camps, and hope I can enroll in one. I'm glad your 1994 perspective class got recorded accidentally, so we forgive you for your negligence (just kidding), it was a treasure, learned intuitive perspective in 3 days, and after that Scot Robertson's book made more sense, I was able to skip some pages since it was derived under the same principles that you taught. This type of class is the grass-fed meat equivalent source of protein for art, takes time to digest but is full of macros, building my art muscles slowly but naturally. Never got a chance to afford or go to art school, also I'm from a third-world country, so for me, this class and your book recommendations are truly wonderful. As the kind of student who hates school but loves learning, I Can't thank you enough. Keep it up, Maestro.

Thank you for the kind words. I am trying to do more, but it all depends on how to make a living with it. Do help me spread the word on those Gumroad videos - they are the mainstay for now until I can get the new courses ready.

@@MarshallVandruffVideos Surely, will spread the word. Unfortunately, this type of content won't sell, people nowadays want short videos that they can consume but don't digest properly, this type of content is a vegetable in a Candyland given all the content out there, to them, this video is TLDR. This is why Proko's business model works really well. Stan hooks with candy (free short youtube videos) while slowly mixing vegetables (long courses and critiques) into the meal, he can make his student grow effectively while earning a profit. Also, you lack presence online, I found you through the Draftsmen podcast which is awesome, if I'm not wrong, most of your leads are probably coming only from the Draftsmen podcast and former student recommendations. You and Nathan Fowkes are both awesome, but you two take time to find online for new people, which creates a problem where I've already spent my money on other not-so-worthy classes which instead I could have spent or donated on yours. Hope this insight helps you grow your business more. But please take it with a grain of salt, I'm no expert in online marketing.

Marshall thank you so, so much for sharing this course. I really enjoyed all you had to say. I’ve had Bridgman’s books for years but opened them only when I was stuck. Thank you again for all your expertise and opening up the world of Bridgman.

Amazing insights and teaching ability that is life changing. I’m a bit sad that these lessons are over which is something I’ve never experienced in a learning experience before. If only I’d had a teacher like you when I was younger I can only wonder how life might have been different. Thank you kind sir.

I'm SO looking forward to the drawing lessons from Heinrich Kley! After watching the 12 sessions of the Bridgman Bootcamp I have no doubt that I want to be part of his future online classes, besides the fact that Kley is an artist I've admired for the longest time

Thank you Marshall for doing your best to put out there the good vibes and humility of learning!!! So enriching to benefit from the road you have tread, letting us know of some pitfalls, some interesting routes to take, but always daring us to go into the unknown, because YES! Who knows wtf is out there? We may get a little lost but we might find something useful out there. Hopefully we get to come back. If not, hey at least it was something! We got up and tread! And that is invaluable.

Thaanks for a very constructive (in more than one sense) seminar! I've learned a lot about Bridgman, but also about how to become a great artist! I'm sure Bridgman would be proud! :)

I have watched the entire series, but there are various directions that can be improved in the field of art, and I feel lost about which path to choose. Korean artists can draw realistic characters without reference, and Japanese animators can express them as if it's a divine move. I used to enjoyed this sort of 'Exploring' very much, but now I feel like a traveler who can't draw without a teacher. Of course, the session itself was so perfect. Thanks Marshall.

Well, I chose this course because I always enjoy listening to Marshall talk about art and its free and I live on a scholarship (not art). First time trying anatomy. I suspect that Bridgman wasn't for begginers but... it was interesting and like, to put a foot in the subject. Thanks for everything. I will continue doing idk, something.
