Bridgmans complete guide to drawing from life Pt2

I'm learning how to draw anatomy, and I figured that a good way to do that would be to copy every picture in this book about life drawing from 1952 titled 'Bridgmans complete guide to drawing from life'.
I drew it on my ipad, which can make a timelapse video of your drawings. this is a video of pages 147 - 251 of the book.

I can see the improvement from the first video to this one! Do you feel like you improved a lot? Where can I find your artwork, these were fantastic!

sudafreekan thanks a lot. Yeah I do feel like I improved. Probably in things like speed and proportion. There are a couple of other books I might try to copy as well. For other artwork, I have been putting some on instagram @ Too_Friendly or TooFriendly.Photo

@@Filtersloth that's great, you need an incredible amount of discipline to do this. Do you feel when you draw hands now that you can see the bridgman practice showing through? What you've done is really inspiring and more people need to see it. I'll have a look at that, thanks :)

sudafreekan thanks. I think I need a lot more practice for hand construction and other anatomy to really sink in. I think it disappears quickly if you don’t practice all the time. Lately I’ve been concentrating on still life’s and trying to see colour more accurately. Thanks for your nice comment!

@@Filtersloth yeah, but I bet your linework and construction improved quite a lot. How long did it take to get through the whole book? I'm done quite a bit of bridgman, just the first few chapters, a few times over, and I can really see the benefits!

sudafreekan yeah I think my linework and speed levelled up as I did it. It also got me pretty used to drawing on the iPad. I’m not sure how long I spent doing it because I sort of lose track of time while drawing. But i just drew it while sitting in bed now and then over a few weeks. Have you been posting up your own drawings? Got a place to view them?
