Hi Nick & Jill What a treat getting an extra video this week ♥️ and how lovely to see what's not on the seafront of this lovely town. It's like a behind the scenes peep at the real life and I have to say I'm very impressed. I love those greens around the priory, which itself looks magnificent. Then into the more built up areas with interesting architecture of both bow & bay windows which lend themselves to the Dickensian theme. The shops... gosh so many, all looking well cared for and entering into the spirit of the day. Credit goes to all the musicians too with their jolly performances. Beautiful tour of Bridlington, Jill and Nick. Lovely Priory and quaint town. I believe you've brought us here before, (was happy to see at the end several times) but we loved seeing it again at Christmas time. No bah humbugs from us! Loved passing by the band and hearing the music several times. In fact that was us dancing in the street near the end! Thanks for bringing us along.

This is such a treat! The Priory is so grand! Walking through the town streets was so nice, and Inloved seeing the beautiful window displays. What a festive experience, from the decorations to the street band and the yummy food stands 😊 wonderful story telling on the history, and to see a real stockade 😮

We were there the other day , well on the last day of 2023.....I personally like Brid...

Hi Nick & Jill I’m not a fan of the walking tours but you covered Bridlington very well. Some nice pubs, and coffee shops. Enjoyed the church. A definite thumbs up from me. 👍

Love the old town in Brid, have some great memories of seeing live music and pub lock ins down there years back, always nice and quiet with some businesses that it’s great to see are still going, and then winter fair and costumes/ band are always great too. Enjoyed the video

Hi Nick and Jill we love walking tour videos the sippets of conversation and random sounds are great. Some really nice shop fronts was interesting that some had original frontages they look better but looked like they have condensation issues. Loved the people who had dressed up. Wow the organ sounded great . Interesting that the old town was used for the dads army film it certainly looks the part. Good morning both, this was so relaxing to watch and so beautiful and Christmassy 🙂 The old town heritage trail sounds brilliant to do and would be so interesting. I especially liked the old priory, inside was beautiful and the craft day would have been popular I think. That was good to look around 👍~ Anna

What a great day to visit Old Bridlington and thank you for introducing me to a part we've not explored before. The little independent stores look lovely, especially those with festive store fronts. Cool green organ too. We must try and find this part of Brid next time we are up that way!

Interesting...don't see many churches with commerce in the sanctuary...hmmm. Just really enjoy the feeling once gets on these narrower streets, the close knit shops, and the great architecture...sure is a Dickensian feeling! Absolutely fascinating. We’ve never been to Bridlington so this was a cool tour - in more ways than one - loved the Squirrels comment at the start 😃😃😃 The Abbey is beautiful and loved the Jazz quartet. Great sound on this one Nick 👍👍👍. Enjoyed.

A nice walk. It is almost like you're in Europe somewhere. 😁 I don't think we have anything like that left anymore. More people wandering around than I expected too.

Lots of things have obviously got better over the last hundred years but I do think there was more of a community then with annual festivals and fairs. Bet they would have been a sight to see. Best wishes to you both.

Very nice tour

You sneaked this one without me seeing. Please sir can I have some more. The priory looked fabulous inside and out. Lots of quaint narrow streets. I'd say Bridlington looks better than your average British town. Cool charity organ. Christmas comes early here too but I was looking for Scrooge. I liked that it didn't look too busy and nice capture near the end of those gulls making a racket. Great relaxing tour and look around 👍

Up that road the old High Street past the convent there was a chemist that my mother used to go to them as a small boy . It had two large flasks that looked a bit Oriental and they were in the window I went into the shop a few years ago and the shopkeeper said that one of them are collapsible gone to the window they must’ve had a few gallons in them I was born in the old Hospital quite a bit further out it was a different place in those days😊

I was looking at this thinking it looked familiar and then I saw the Dad's Army fact and a light bulb appeared above my head! Although I must say, that film sucked 😂 the original TV series was much better. I didn't realise Bridlington was as nice as that, having only really seen the seafront. Nice to see plenty of people out and about. Thanks for the walkabout guys!
