That Vee Dub really gave me a Cars That Ate Paris vibe. Sensational movie from the Ozploitation error of Aussie film making - the 70s. Horror comedy directed by the soon to be famous Peter Weir. @@GENerationXplorers hi Xers 😁 we were away on holiday for a month or so and now we are going to catch up with all our favourite KZfaqrs. Yep, I follow your Insta feeds but I am nowhere near as active on Insta these days. I think my inactivity has cost me about 2 or 300 followers from my peak. 😂 Finicky mob instagrammers. I've barely posted any KZfaq videos in a year and I still managed to put on about 15 subs. 😂 Unlike my darn daughter who has garnered about 2k sub on her channel in the last 3 or 4 weeks. 😂

me too, I mean I understand goth is a lifestyle choice. I’ve been wearing black since the 80s and love all the goth music to this day. but you don’t have to look or live that way 365 days a year to show your committed. its in your blood, sadly, some goths are the most horrendous trolls on the planet and want to spoil anyone else’s enjoyment that doesn’t exactly conform to what they perceive being a Goth to be. such a shame.

Moody is such a British word for describing bad weather 😂
@GENerationXplorers2 күн бұрын
it was definitely moody on that day. KZfaq has a lot to answer for, we had to leave glorious weather and 20C to descend into that gloom for the event! haven’t learnt, related the endeavour this week by attending the Fish and Ships festival, it was absolutely freezing. very moody!

@GENerationXplorers2 күн бұрын
ah thank you so much, have to be honest I found a lot more to love in Hull than not. I’m very excited to return and see the Museum, Art Gallery, Marina, Little Switzerland and sing the praises of the Princess Quay which must be a one stop shop for anyone from Hull. it can be very annoying making these videos sometimes and I’ve put the process on hold for now, boarded up shops are sadly everywhere, retail is changing completely and frankly I don’t think anywhere will be safe. I’m excited for my return to Hull and I promise you this, there won’t be one boarded up shop on my next video from there 👍
@revzombie2 күн бұрын
One of the main problems that retail industry in Hull is everyone shops online cos it's cheaper at times and convenient delivered to your door. It doesn't mean Hull is a bad place to live, I've lived here for 56 years and still love our little shit hole corner of the UK.

Coming very soon.. top things to do in Hull. no boarded up shops and so many great places to visit. I sometimes get so tired of seeing “to let” signs (they are everywhere arent they?) my next video on Hull will be entirely different and will showcase some of the amazing things your great city has to offer 👍

Wow I had no idea anything like the Race the Waves event existed. It reminded me of the old kids tv programme Wacky Races & I mean that in the nicest possible way. It was a shame about the weather for them but actually provided a fabulous backdrop for some great atmospheric shots. All those cars were amazing though if I owned one I'd be cringing as to what damage the sand was doing to it. Well Nick is it just like riding a bike ? Haha I had a similar experience, after riding one to school/ work every day for about 10 years then never for another 35 years it was no way "just like riding a bike" though I get that the one you had on the video was a bit special 🤣😃I think Jilly got the best treat being chauffeured along the prom. Shame about the weather, hopefully you'll get some sunshine soon 😎😎 🤗🤗 xx

@GENerationXplorers5 күн бұрын
Yeah I spotted that last week when I filmed the Fair! I’m glad they have moved into a bigger unit. I like Maxit being on the high street, it seems like there might be some late progress with the Brunswick. Everyone was supposed to have been moved out by September 2023 and development started on a cinema. Also in the Brunswick you can see signs of some work going on in the empty units. There might be hope yet. Just don’t mention Bar Street, KFC or the shops that have closed on Abingdon Walk.
@ChilleUK5 күн бұрын
@@GENerationXplorers Yeah hate the fact KFC shut down lol, used to go there after getting my haircut once a month was a nice treat. Lived in this town now for 30 years and its been a shame seeing it go so downhill.
@GENerationXplorers5 күн бұрын
@ChilleUK it’s a real shame isn’t it? KFC in the town was a treat for us too. Enjoyed the Scarborough Fair though, that, ironically used part of the 2 million a year High Street Regeneration Fund that our town has for the next ten years. I started the series with Scarborough but boy oh boy we have it REAL lucky compared to most places. I still have hope. A few things coming together could change the landscape completely. Tear down that Argos block for a town square, get the cinema in the Brunswick and host more town centre festivals like the brilliant Fair. It could be a turning point. I’m not leaving so I hope they do get it right for both our sakes 👍

now that would be an entertaining video series. it was hard enough walking on that busy promenade, getting me on a penny farthing in those crowds was bonkers! will be in Newark for the first time on Bank Holiday, sadly not the one in New Jersey. they apparently have the biggest traveller community in the UK and it coincides with a Steampunk event.
