@@Honestandtasty Sandwich looks delish. I’m thinking of doing it with cherry preserves! One thing I did want to mention, vitamins in staple foods aren’t there as a marketing ploy. They started being added in the 1920s and 30s because so many children were poor in this country and developing childhood diseases without vitamins. For example, iodine was added to salt, and goiters disappeared almost overnight. Vitamins D was added to milk and vitamins to bread and pasta and that changed rickets, lower bone density among children, from something affecting as many as 70% of America’s children had, to something rarely heard of in the US today. These vitamins are like the polio vaccine. They’ve done their job so well, people are forgetting how necessary they are.
