As a Brazilian, This is one of the variations of our brigadeiro. I like the version where you use cream instead of butter and chocolate bars instead of cocoa powder. Sour cream and Cocoa butter (from the chocolate bar) will make the texture of the brigadeiro soft and velvety. It becomes amazing.

I have made these a few times. I actually have some in my fridge right now. I make them with the same ingredients but a bit of a different process. I grease my plate first, chill it in the fridge like that for a few hours, then I roll them, and chill them preferably overnight. That is just the way I do it, your way seems a lot easier and less time consuming. I will try it next time :)

I’ve made this so many times. Why buy candy when you can make it 😀 I’ve even made it wrong a few times with too much cocoa and it still turned out delicious! Thanks again friend🙏🏾

I always use butter, but technically you could probably leave it out and be fine.

Use a little cooking oil or vegetable shortening or butter. In the video I used butter, I mentioned butter at the 0:38 mark in the video.
