Years ago when I was a bartender a guy came in and said he was hungry. We didn't serve food and I was hungry too so I ordered both of us a pizza. Turned out he was one of the owners. Hey, I’ve had chest pain in my left pec muscle and it’s been 4 months... I’m certain it’s nerve irritation because the burning and tingling. It’ll be completely fine then get irritated it sucks! Chiropractors correct spinal misalignments. This doesn’t always have to cause pain. Your vertebrae cover the spinal cord which controls every muscle, organ and tissue in the body. If your spine is out of alignment putting pressure on the nerves, the parts that these nerves control can begin to disease and slowly break down.... so the adjustments correct the misalignments and get u functioning at your most optimal level. So Adjustments are ALWAYS beneficial if your misaligned!

I have an electric massager that's similar to the tool in the video. I just ran it over my sinuses like the chiropractor did. I'm not sure what I was doing but it seemed to work and now I feel a bit of a pressure relief. Thanks for the video doc!!

Arthrostim. A tool some chiropractors say is just a vibrator. Some claim it actually taps bones into different places. The fact they can't even agree what it is or what it does, should tell you plenty about the treatment.

Why do GPs never recommend this? I've had blocked sinuses for so long. Back and forth to the doctor, yet no-one ever says: "hey, why don't you get cleaned out by a Chiro?". Drives me crazy that KZfaq provides more information/options than a GP.

I'm curious if anyone has actually had this procedure done and what the results were? I eat super healthy and exercise daily yet I feel like I always have some sort of sinus build up or mucus/flem present.

Just try irrigating your sinuses with a large craft syringe ( no needle) & some salt ( sea salt!) & distilled water.( do NOT use tap water) I think the recipe is 1 teaspoon salt to 8 ozs of water, heat the water in a glass or ceramic cup to 98 degrees & lean over your sink, gently squirt the water in ( it shouldn't sting at all, which was what I was worried about the 1st time I tried it) & it should immediately, not 10 minutes later, but immediately start to comfort your sinuses & they will drain effectively. There are nedi pots at health food stores, but I find using a large craft syringe is much, much easier to control.

You can used your hand like this ✊and gently do the vibration motion from the thumb side as it holds a little bit of meat which acts as cushion and it actually help me a lot. Do it in gentle tabbing motion like that gun and let me know how you feel. No need to buy a thing. Cheers.

I have a question - how safe are the cervical adjustments that are taught on KZfaq? I’ve been having some neck issues that I think are from poor posture and my pillow. This isn't an adjustment... This is a non chiropractic issue. Chiropractics is actually a useful tool (for you people who don't 'belive' in it) if you do it correctly. It's somewhat limited but can and does help people with health issues that a generic hospital, doctor or surgeon could manage to help. But for this 'procedure' its not nessasery and/or a taught practiced procedure, he's just reperposed the adjustment tool as a head wobbler to help access momentary relief. This is a physical medical issue, not chiropractic.

Chiropractors seem to have trouble agreeing on what their job is, what their limitations are, or their capabilities. This very tool being used, the Arthrostim, is debated. One (1) chiropractor calls it a proprioceptive barrage for nerves... another says it's nothing but a vibrator... yet another claims it actually taps bones into place. If you saw this level of variance in something as simple as Dentistry, you'd be mortified, and rightfully so. You'd have licenses pulled left and right. There is evidence for very narrow applications of relief with chiropractic care, obviously this not being one (1) of said applications. But, you don't get to call this chiropractic or not, or the right chiropractic or not, when the industry finds this sort of horse shit as perfectly acceptable. This is precisely why there should be stringent regulation of chiropractors, their practices, and significant education and definitions to the public, as not to confuse this with any level of science based medicine or medical treatment.
