Thanks! I feel like my skin is worn out. Lol. Yes, the silkies lay quite well. In fact, they've been the best throughout the winter.

Hi, I've just discovered your channel, it's very good. I live in farmlands with no neighbours in Eire. How do you get away with having all those crowing birds with people living round you ? Don't they moan about the noise ?

I'm extremely lucky in that my neighbours do not mind the cockerels. I have to bring them all inside at night into blackout boxes which is a pain but something I'll do if it allows me to continue keeping them. :)

One assumes tortoises, or is it torti, LOL, pee & poop! How do you deal with that around the house or is it obvious and easy to clean up?

Hilltop Farm he has dogs and if there anything like mine they go behind cleaning it up 🤢 haha

They're not too bad, especially as it's been winter and their metabolisms have been a bit slower. But yes...dogs tend to find it and I have no carpet downstairs which helps.

Geoff- that's not straw you have with the rabbit is it ? they should never be on straw - it upsets their stomachs - meadow hay only with shavings.

Thanks for the tip. I do use straw ... always have done, even when I was a kid. Never any problems but perhaps because they always have tonnes of hay they never eat it?
