It really depends on what kind of curl you have so I will give you some advice for ANY curl WASHING Use a shampoo and conditioner and STICK TO IT, do not change your shampoo and conditioner, I recommend Redken acid bonding shampoo and conditioner, if your hair is really damaged, then once it heals up Redken All soft shampoo and conditioner. Wash with this twice a week. You should get a clarifying shampoo, this is basically to get out built up product and make your hair especially healthy. Again I recommend Redken for that as well. Use that once a week. Then use a healing treatment, try to use one with natural things good for your hair, such as certain oils, honey, or coconut milk. I would recommend RAWSUGAR for that, follow directions on the package when to use that. STYLING You can use a rice water supplement/treatment, this helps with hair loss and shedding, also gets it shiney and beautiful. Depending on your curl pattern you can use a curl defining Pudding, if you have more tight curls or the cur defining spray for loser curls, I recommend Mizani for both. You can use a pre styling spray to be sure you won't over do anything, recommend Mizani. Then you will use a leave in condition, again Mizani. BEDTIME A revitalizing serum could be used for your scalp and I recommend RevivScalp and then lastly before you go to bed add a hair treatment to ensure it's protection and braid it I recommend Amika for this. Be sure to wear some kind of silk bonnet while you sleep, never go to be without it. I hope you have a lovely recovery. ❤
