How we ploughed the soil in June with a garden tractor and a single plow on sleeve hitch. Breaking new soil which is now a garden producing vegetables.
You don't need a big tractor to plow. You can plough with John Deere X500 series or higher.

Ahhhhh....the adjustments are killing me. Thank you for the effort. Hard to watch though. Take it from an old plow boy. Turning plow adjustment is an art. 😉

your tractor is more than adequate for ground engaging attachments, you need to adjust plow properly, plenty of youtube videos out there on this. keep learning and enjoy what you are doing like most of the people that is watching your video.

You need to put the bottom of the plow level with the ground it is adjusted completely wrong if you make it level you will get nice furrows

Have seen it before. The plow adapter at front is upside down. Needs to be flipped over to have plow sit correct. Nice set up tho.

I hope you took the time to properly adjust it. Never turn when a ground-engaging plow is down. Your X500 is way more than enough to use that Moldboard plow efficiently. Are you intentionally dragging the plow with it tilted up like that?

yea, I do turn with implements, occasionally, the tractor seems to be able to take. As for the plough being high, many people commented on the plough not being adjusted well. oh well, I don't think like re-installing it, and it seems to work. but thank you for you comment

first of all don't turn with the plow in the ground sure way to mess up the entire plow. The reason it's not turning the soil is your blade needs to be deeper and level...ADD SOME WEIGHT .

The internet is your friend try doing some research if you are unsure on how something, anything is to operate or be set up. Even if you think you know double check it is "worth the trip" as they say. One can see that this is simply wrong as to set up on the plow. Not trying to be critical but c'mon man if you are going though the trouble of creating a video, make it informative in a correct way. But you did add nice music. Never to old to learn. Just saying.

@@OneNewMan I also think that set up would work but need to be readjusted the plow should be leavel in ground not just the tip going in

@@flyinryan1986 as you see above I got a lot of advice/criticism on that. However I think I did the best possible with the setup I had, the height was dependent of the tractor and the box at the back, the hitch could only be attached one way, and that's the height I got. Last year I got a new hitch, the uni hitch with an electric actuator, and it's way better now, I think.
