The third leg from my American adventure in December 2015. On-board BA283 from London Heathrow to Los Angeles, California on Sunday 6th December 2015. PLEASE READ:
After arriving in Terminal 5 around 8:30am from Copenhagen, we quickly passed security arriving at our gate for the 11 hour hop over to Los Angeles. My second time on the Boeing 777, selecting 34K for the duration.
Once boarded, we pushed back on schedule & made a quick taxi over to 27L. Before long those GE-90's rolled into life & made a powerful departure up into the clouds above London.
It was the longest sector I have ever flown - however the British Airways entertainment system is fantastic, keeping us busy for the flight. Unfortunately there wasn't many views on the flight, however did manage to see Greenland in it's natural beauty!
En-route we passed Ireland, Greenland, Northern Canada, Navada & Los Angeles (amazing views of the city) before we landed in LAX around 13:30pm.
I was super excited to explore California, and I couldn't think of a better way to start the trip than fly British Airways. #avgeek
