Three things. 1) Yes, I probably put on a little bit of weight over Christmas (happens every year). 2) No hate mail doesn't affect me in anyway - I read it for entertainment purposes. 3) Of course I'm hugely grateful for all the positive comments I receive daily/weekly. I probably wouldn't be making videos if it wasn't for them and I wish I could give a hat or pen to everyone who has left a positive comment over the years. Just don't expect a nice comment reading video in a hurry (limited entertainment value) - that said, I'm looking at doing a monthly comment video responding to comments and questions in general! Could be jolly good fun. And above all, 4) I can't believe it but I recently discovered the secret to an unbelievably amazing source of........ah, wait, I said "three things". I'd better leave it there.

That 'Mexicano Pride' comment really riled me up, I think almost everyone is extremely self conscious, I'm always worried about the way people think of me. One of the main reasons as to why I'm stopping myself from moving to Japan is because I'm so worried about acceptance. I find that I depend on other people perhaps more than I should and if I moved to Japan I would have nobody to turn to. I would feel really horrible if people would judge me or see me as an outcast. Chris I think you are so brave to speak English in front of all of these Japanese people because if I were you I would worry about them thinking I'm another dumb tourist or somehow thinking I'm inferior to them. I know the majority of Japanese people don't think this way but this is just the way my mind works. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say here.... I believe you are a very brave and confident person (not to mention that your humor is the best thing since sliced bread) so thanks for bringing a bit of Japanese culture into my inevitably mundane British lifestyle. Cheers :)

The insult would be to NOT eat the cow meat, from the cow, who was clearly already dead. That would be an insult, because the cow died in vain, and it is wasteful. Eat the cow, Chris. Eat. The. Cow.
