I see a lot of people comparing her to Billie Eilish, dua lipa and other people. You can't compare Britney to people that are new in the music industry. that's so silly. Britney is in the same categorie as Michael Jackson and Madonna. She is the princess, angel of pop. stop it. ( This was a comment from years ago. Much respect for you raising three kids... It's not only about providing food, clothes and a roof above their heads. It's also about guidance on a mental and emotional level... Day in and out. Even when they've left home being a parent goes on.. Things I have never experienced. Much respect for all of you parents out there. I don’t believe this was released as a single in the U.S. I loved this album so much. Until now, I did not know that there was a video for this great song. I was a Senior in high back in 1999 working at Kmart in the electronics department. I would play this CD every night after closing time. I’m 42 now, the same age as Britney in 2023. 1999 has been the best year of my life this far. I would love to relive it again.

This is one of my all time favorite songs and it's beautiful but with the recent history that has came out makes it hard to listen to without thinking she was born to only make us happy. That's not right. I'll support her though because she needs us.

It's surprised to know that this song was recorded when Britney was just 17-18 yrs. but it gives the long-lasting impression to whomever listen to it. In the next 50 years, you may come back nostalgically for this song and don't feel like this is an outdated music and realized this song was made by a teenage American from the 90s.

She wasn't only handed songs, she did write some of her own as well. And as for this song, you are kind of right, the song was originally for a much older audience as it was actually about sex, Britney asked the writers to re-write it though.

I remember when I saw this video for the first time and I literally lost my breath from her stunning beauty. I don't care what anyone else says, in her day, Britney was one of most beautiful women I have ever seen. She is mesmerising. To this day I am angry at the so called "image makers" for getting her to dress tarty. Britney didn't need to dress sexy, she was naturally sexy without doing a thing.
