Ha, I did the same thing with that bolt that was too short and used the same longer bolt you did. I tried several times to make the original work and ended up just doing what you did. The sound this makes is worth the money alone. I wish I had seen your install video before I did mine. But, great video.

Thanks for this. I followed along and it went pretty smoothly. Except for a couple bolts I lost in the engine compartment. I did find replacements but I hope the loose ones don't cause any damage before they fall out.

I never knew 5/16 and 8mm were the same. Always knew 5/16 took have of the engine compartment apart.

Do you have to disconnect the battery? Any issues if you dont?

I put one of these in my Mustang. Noticed a difference right away ! Just ordered 2024 Badlands last week. Doing my best to be patient. Starting to sock upon aftermarket products. Was this a project that seemed helpful for performance?
