This is just great! The more programs and news, the better! I too, had I known how fascinating is history and archaeology, would have chosen to become an archaeologist. Tanks to you all, I can do it vicariously here in Wisconsin, USA. Thanks ever so much to you Time Team folks! I’m proud to be a patron.

I love this! Being in the States, we don't have all the amazing things Time Team shows us. I became a TT junkie about 2 years ago and binged the crap out of the original series, sometimes staying up literarily all night to watch! I hadn't realized archeology could be so exciting! Thank you, Time Team, for showing me otherwise! ❤

I got hooked on Time Team in the early 2000's when History International aired them here in the States. When Hint went off the air I was forced to search the internet for more episodes. Yes, I ended up bootlegging them.

I love this stuff. This is why I am subscribed on Patreon and will continue to support for as long as I can. This is our culture and it must be uncovered, preserved, and presented to the people. The benefits that comes from knowing where you come from, historically speaking, is great for one's persona.

I have been watching Time Team from it’s predecessor programme, featuring a very handsome Phil Harding showing how to nap flint like our ancestors. And have looked forward to, and enjoyed, every episode since. There has never been one that disappointed. A monthly round up of archeological workings would be a joy, especially with the inclusion of what is happening in other countries. We are so lucky in this country to have such a wealth of history, but we need to remember other countries do as well - and we can learn from this. I am really grateful to all the team for their input into making our history a lived experience for the viewer.

Please make this a regular feature, love the observations around the world and seeing her. Doesn't the Bronze age sword look like it would be very comfortable in the hand. Has just a familiar look and feel, almost as if you could pick it up and head out... it may be ceremonial, but it is the exact shape of what was used for battle... plus, I think, the beauty and craftsmanship of it and the other finds tells us more about the folks than we think it does. Thanks for creating and doing this. Fair winds and calm seas. mjb

This is exactly the sort of thing I didn't know I needed! It's so easy to assume everything that could be found has already been uncovered. Growing up, we'd only hear about discoveries months or years after they'd been excavated and production had wrapped on the corresponding television programme for History or Discovery channel, which indeed would be quite interesting, but admittedly made it difficult to get excited about new finds we didn't know existed unless we held specific magazine subscriptions. The prospect of a well produced, regular recap of recent finds and proposed theories in the field of archaeology is very exciting.

Time Team kept me entertained through Covid lock downs here in the USA. I just found this new site! Can't wait to see the new videos. Can you please do some shows on new finds in JAMESTOWN, VA? They are digging up new skeletons, and other things. Also, can you do a show on the COPPER CULTURE that was here in the Michigan Keweenaw Peninsula area? Huge amounts of raw pure copper came out of this area. The MOUND BUILDERS buried many beautiful artifacts made from this copper. Also, several years back Toni Robinson came to Montana for dinosaur digs, but he didn't make it to the GREEN RIVER FORMATION in KEMMERER, WYOMIING to dig up fantastic FOSSIL FISH! They have also found the fossilized bones of the very early "dawn horse" in with the fish fossils. Keep up the great work! I love this sort of thing.

What a great new feature. I've seen the original series so many times that when Miles Russell appeared here I didn't recognize him. His voice hasn't changed, but the rest of him is aging very gracefully. It reminds me of just how many years have passed. Glad to see I wasn't alone it that and hope to see these more; it's fun to have commentary & context from familiar faces, rather than nearly-anonymous testimonials in news articles. Well done Dani, well done! I had read about the Närdlingen sword a few weeks ago. They had that picture of it in the ground which blew me away with how beautiful it looked. I thought the green of the hilt was the actual original color, was quite disappointed to find it was just discoloration from the copper leaching. Made me think at first it was some kind of exotic material. Still, and amazing find. They didn't mention who was the excavator who found it, but I'd wager it's something they'll never forget.

Hi Dani. You mention the post-dig finds processing and your love of it. I would love to see some video of HOW artifacts, soil samples etc are processed - not just a short two to three minutes, but an decent explanation and showing of the process, decisions, findings and subsequent analysis, i.e. what is done, how it's done, why it's done that way, how the decisions on process are made, what you actually find and how you analyse those findings to arrive at whatever conclusion. E.G. using Sutton Hoo as an example, what was done to clean and analyse the finds and the in situ soil to derive a dating etc. I, for one, am interested in some of the behind-the-scenes work which goes on for far longer than the basic dig. Yes, I've been a Patreon supporter since I heard about it, so over two years now.
