Dave, we're going to miss our weekly doses of watching you and your team on Brother's Trucks. You've been an inspiration for many of us. You have had over 13K views on this video alone, and that's a lot of influence on our old trucks. I've watched several of your videos on this old '65 C10 truck. I've really enjoyed watching as you and your team have put together many awesome trucks. A lot of these can apply to my '68 C10 and my daughter's '76 C10 as well. Of course, you do have many videos on the '67-'87 trucks, too.

Dave for real your doing pretty good. I'm a contractor but I do the work so I'm hauling plywood, cement, boards, etc. I really hate hauling tile and cement to the second floor I'm 57 now and I still do it by myself. My point is when I work at old folks homes it sadbto see people stare at the wall and wait to die. Very sad. When I see this I thank God I'm buildinging cars and trucks. Homes and remodels. So even though you say it sucks and it does. Your way better off than homebound elders.

Maybe so. But to learn to work through that or everybody just runs off and leaves you! Fortune I found a way to work through it. The a-hole part. The back part you just do what you can. The pain that Dave is having is immense. No I don't know him personally and then just seen him on KZfaq. I'd rather know him then the back pain among others that I know way too well. Not complaining among other things they taught me how to walk again. Not competing it is not a competition. It's just man I don't know how old you are but take care of that back. I did but unfortunately just had one bad day at work.

Dave wish I was magic back pain pills. But I have spoken with enough people who had the rods implanted in their back and to say it did not work out for them is an understatement. So I did not have it. Walking in a great pair of shoes is the best exercise and that's what everybody told me. That's what I've done. The pain is still immense but I've learned to let others do things that I normally do myself. No great Revelations here. I love had surgeries with nothing on the back. The lower body and then there was plenty enough. But around 15 years later at least that wheelchair did not become a permanent former transportation. I even changed my stride to very short. The only great words of wisdom is that I'd recommend talking to people as many as you can and figure it out for yourself what's best. Also include of last number of people who have similar back problems or what you receive might be worse than your own and see what they do that works and doesn't work. Decide for yourself with your doctor. Overall that was my path and physical therapy. But hey great work on the truck. I empathize with you. But you get out there and keep doing what you have a passion for. That's admirable.

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV you're welcome. Rather qualifies as advice or just free information for consideration. If you ever did have surgery a neurosurgeon. And a damn good one at that is what you need to have. Mine was pretty damn good but I know of another one that I would fly or drive just to go see if I was going to go to surgery. But that's one of the reasons I'm not building like I used to or that I'd planned on doing at this stage in life.

To Oswaldo Contreras! Folks don't understand back pain until they have it. I was shocking to hear tumor + accident, this is salt in a cut, but you have me beat. Dave is tall, I am 6'3" but hired as service tech after hounded to jump ship, boss had a 28 year old ASE Master jump into a 4' hole & run a (2 man) earth compactor that jumps and the ground turned to mud & visible water. Pull & move, pull & stop! I went 5 hrs before I left it, locked my tool box & went home. Work up and felt like the worst sunburn ever, but like you to a degree, started surgeries, recovery, return to a dealer to fix and do what I felt born to do. Age makes old injuries, stupid accidents, falls what stunts that went wrong come back to bite your behind. I loved my job, a challenge, the learning as new tech evolved. Maybe like some, OCD infected me with perfectionism and then age changed all. Just had 3 more since Dec that require software & adjustments all electronic, October surgery, two tries since, then emailed to say they quit. They got paid 3 times + clinical visits and now won't see me? Stuck will bills and back where is was! I swear no one cares anymore. I am glad to hear you are better or good, but I am almost 10 years younger and can't believe the world today. Best of continued luck! I mean that, I do... It gives something to fight for because this tears you up inside! God bless and have wonder holidays and a better 2023! DK, ASE master since 78.

Dave, thank god you have a younger group of guys helping. It takes me 3 minutes to get off a creeper now as I look like fish out of water. Ain't pretty but I keep going. Hope you get "Very Good" help for you back aches! Believe me, I am a guy who knows like the other viewer. Take care. I will be watching and plan ahead with medical help now as I becomes dicy during the holidays. Blessings to you & crew, all family...
