Nothing says plinking like a .22! Browning’s SA22 was designed by the master, John Browning, to shoot pop cans and small game. It is my favorite for leisure shooting to relax and have fun.
This trim, lightweight takedown rifle is everything I ever wanted as a teen growing up in rural Ohio. I never owned one then, but now you can join me for an in-depth review of Mr. Browning's masterpiece.

My dad got me this gun when I was 14 now I’m 64 still own it and use it to this day it’s been a fantastic rifle

My sweet grandparents bought me one of these for Christmas when I was fourteen, back when they were still being made in Belgium, and I wouldn't part with it for the world! I love it!! 🎯🇧🇪

The gun I learned to shoot on. I still have it, such a fine little rifle. I've made some great shots with it, accurate as hell.

Well Good golly Miss Molly I finally found a review on my favorite firearm of all time! Just wanted to add that I think Browning should have supplied the purchasers of this fine piece of craftsmanship one of those stainless steel rings that you wrap around your pet leg when you go out riding your bike so that your pants don't get caught in the chainring, and what you use it for when shooting the sa-22 would be to make sure your shirt sleeve isn't open so that you won't catch a bunch of hot cases and have the kind of scarring I do on my right forearm LOL

Browning recently 4/2024 said that they were discontinuing all SA22's. Good luck if you can find a new one. Just bought one from Canada, in the process of importing it.

My grandad had one of these when I was a kid and, being used to magazine-fed bolt actions (Mossberg 144) and tube-fed semi-autos (Marlin Model 60) it blew my mind how to load it at the time. Great gun

I had a blast shooting it! I still have my Norinco copy purchased at Walmart many years ago for $99 Even it still shoots reliably well GrandSlamRonbo

You should try and get one . Life's too short not to. You will be happy with it. Just get a Browning, and the Japanese ones are just fine, well made.

@@omegaman7456 Those are Chinese made. I don't like the idea of giving China my money with the CCP being what they are. But I'm not judging you if you got one, just giving my own opinion on the subject.

I bought one of the old Belgium made models. The thumb wheel on the rear sight is missing. Great little rifle. It'll pitch hot brass up your sleeve!😂

I've been thinking really hard about getting one and it just might be my next. If that model 29 hasn't been sold yet in a couple of months. Then it will have to be the next after that. And my next two will be both Marlens. The 45-70 and the 357.

I live in England obviously we aren’t allowed firearms it’s unfortunate but I’d love a piece of equipment like this it’s beautiful and such a great idea!!

You are allowed firearms, there are restrictions in that you aren’t allowed handguns (pistols or revolvers) but you are allowed rifles if you have membership of a club.

I see lots of videos from England on guys shooting rabbits . But at the same time I’m glad we don’t have your gun laws but trudope is working on it .

My Dad bought me one of these in 1962. I still have it and would not part with it ever. It is an odd one though it only shoots .22 shorts which are getting hard to find.
