this makes the video of the ball that got immediately deleted a minute ago make more sense :P it's a good looking program, I'm excited to try it! and it's much faster than desmos

Hey I've seen your videos on glsl shadertoy and as a beginner in graphics programming I'm very impressed. I watched your fractal under 3 min glsl video, could you make a whole tutorial on glsl and its basic functions as in starting from a simple color all the to 3d rotations and ray tracing? I know its quite a lot but almost all the videos i see assume you already know about the language and its syntax and are mostly over 15 mind, meanwhile you explained more about the language and the functions and what they do and their intricacies under 3 min while they couldn't do that. It would be much appreciated, i know making tutorials aren't easy but glsl isn't that big a language anyway. It would be much appreciated thank you 🙂

Thank you for the suggestion! I was debating whether to make an introductory GLSL video, but I think you've convinced me to make one now! Also, I'm glad my video commentary style is working!

Sort of depends on what you count as "programming." If you count Scratch as programming, I started with Scratch in 2008 when I found it preinstalled on a little laptop my parents got me. If you don't count Scratch as programming, I started with JavaScript (particularly focusing on the HTML5 canvas) around 2014-2015.
