fearedlegend Check the range place 2.0 to see hetfield's range. It's big as he is. He hit A6 in his youth and still has strong highs and very deep lows.

Lars spoke shit about Maiden and Steve Harris in the 90s when Maiden's popularity decreased hugely when Blaze Bayley was the singer. When Bruce joined Maiden again, he was asked by an interviewer why he returned and he said "To put Iron Maiden back as the number one metal band in the world". After hard work and constant great music, it's safe to say Bruce was right.

He did throughout the late 90's. He called Maiden as yesterday's news. When Bruce and Adrian returned, Maiden's ticket demand rose so high that festivals started to take Maiden instead of Metallica. Now Lars sucks up to Maiden a lot kind of like how he now seems apologetic to the whole Napster issue.

Very nice cheat between two kind of (metal) monsters! I'm so glad to read so many positive and calm comments. Usually I read "Metallica sucks" by Iron's fans or "Iron sucks" by Metallica's fans, I'm old enough and I'm not a fanatic anymore, I and just enjoy 2 bands who have being influencing all metal since the 80s! Of course I have a preference as anyone, is rare to find someone who likes them 50/50, but it doesn't matter as long as we recognize and respect the importance of these two bands and these two frontmen. It's nice to see there are a lot of people who instead being harsh to one another (for God knows which reason), are able to state their opinions and bond!

Lunatic4Bizcas True. But Jamse is not just a vocalist. He is a brilliant songwirter and guitar player, and he has an incredibly powerful stage presence. Overall, that makes him a better frontman then Bruce in my opinion. (and I love both bands)

This was the final one of the 4 that I watched/listened to. Nice sound bites of interviews. Bruce Dickinson interviewing Metallica. You don't get much more metal than that unless you're Slayer playing a gig at a copper mine.

Okay, Judas Kiss was a song by a christain band years ago. I don't remember the bands name, but, it's really interesting that Metallica would have released a song by the same name. I love Metallica, and Iron Maiden both, but, I do know that there's aband who put out the song "Judas Kiss".

It's got to be, to some extent, painful to do interviews like this where James is asked about Cliff. I've seen so many interviews that include questions about Cliff, and how James feels about it. More than I could even estimate. But something frequently bothers me: Imagine that one of your best friends died. And every so often, for 33 fucking years, strangers coming up to you and asking you about that heartbreaking moment. It's no wonder it took him so long to get a handle on his grief, and become healthy again.
