This kinda mini docu is really fantastic and suited for people like me and my friends who grew up together in Jersey are the band’s age group (by co- incidentally I share a birthday with Bruce...1yr.older)and go back to nites when we paid $1.50 to see him in many bars, bowling alleys, and finally hit the “big time” in Philly at the Main Point in Bryan Mawr or opened for the big boys at the Spectrum + left after they were done.Just like right up to today ,grass don’t have a chance to grow under their feet. I’m so tired of this line of opinion that just because Human Touch and Lucky Town were written without the E Street band in mind, that that makes them bad records. That just because Bruce wanted to try something different that that makes these two records not up to par. That because they were done without the E Street Band, that automatically makes them “The low point in his career “ that is ALL BULL SHEET!!! I remember going to the midnight madness sale, at midnight on 31 of March 1992, the store was way over capacity,and the lines were around the block to get his two new CD’s. His songs were all over the radio, MTV and VH1 were playing his videos every hour. His tour was sold out many times over. So this whole BS about them being bad records is just that. BS. I LOVE the E Street Band,and I was devastated when he decided to pursue other musicians in his work, and yes I think HT and LT would have been phenomenal if The E Street Band had been on the recordings, but a talent as GINORMOUS AND GARGANTUAN as Bruce’s,,,,you cant define it in such small minded terms.

I TOTALLY AGREE. These critics have very small minded views, and judge qualities based on sales. Also echoed in my other comment

Got a couple good songs but overall I'm not a fan...definitely don't call him the boss lol

Never really understood the appeal of Bruce Springsteen....Hungry Heart...what kind of song is that? Very mediocre, repetitive melody with a bunch of organ solos and sax solos? Not a big fan.

it is quite repetitive, the track itself isnt a great representation of his work. You should give Springsteen a second chance and try songs such as "Rosalita" or "Jungleland"

Rolling Stone magazine had an article in 2018 where they listed, in their opinion, Top 100 Springsteen songs. Hungry Heart was in there, but not top 50... :) So - if you are interested, Springsteen work is much more than the radio-hits. And if your're not interested - ok. No problem :)

A blanket opinion based on one song is meaningless. Also, there's only 1 organ solo and no sax solo...not sure what your point was with that anyway.
