I love how these WB somehow managed to come up with shittiest decision every single and its literally on streak, very few times they made a proper decision. this game should've been a batfam game with Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin neutralizing the JL (ik Gotham Knights exists). It would kill two birds with one stone: playing with the other batfam members in the Arkham games, and making a game that actually ties in with Arkham Batman's lore consistently.

I'm sorry but you can complain about a lot of stuff about this game, but Bruce's whole appearance is much, much better than his face in Knight's.

Idk, I felt the proportions of the face were better than Arkham Knight, and more in line with Origins, Asylum and City. Kind of looks more human - and in line with the playboy aesthetic - rather than a juiced up gorilla with an inhumanly square jawline and overly defined smile lines.

I don't think Batman / Bruce showing emotion in the recorded message is bad, even the "forced smile" is imo good. In Arkham Knight, Batman doesn't lose his cool because he doesn't want to look weak and defeated in front of Scarecrow. In Suicide Squad, it's a recorded message for his disciples whom he is proud of after years of training them and seeing them get better and better. What they should have done with Suicide Squad's story was in order to defeat the Justice League, Batman should have been a more central and clear part of that effort. He is the smartest guy in the room always, and the most powerful too. That is, until he joined the Justice League. He can never trust anyone completely and thus always has a contingency plan in case he has to defeat them. That's why he developed those gadgets with Lex Luthor in order to take those god-like beings down, in case they ever go rogue. The problem wasn't Batman dying, he already died at the end of Arkham Knight and people loved that story. It's HOW he died in Suicide Squad, sitting on a bench defeated and shot through his "bulletproof" cowl, unceremoniously like a sick puppy being put down with nothing more than snarky comments left. Even if he is being killed by the Suicide Squad, he should have been shown to be two steps ahead of everyone by planning out this entire thing, except of course his own death. That could have been the moment Batman also respected the Suicide Squad as they were able to take him down, while the Squad also respecting him for his help and hindsight even though hating him for all he did before.

Everyone has their fair issues with Arkham Knight but there is no denying that it has one of the greatest Batman endings ever put in a game/show/movie. Still gives me chills after all these years. I just wish Suicide Squad had an ending at least half as good.

I don't know what it is but AK Batman's face always seemed off to me. I think it's mostly his lips. I honestly don't have a problem with the new model at all. It kinda looks like an older version of City's Batman, which I think is still the best face for him.
