Yeah the bad part is one yoke is 85 dollars the other is 215.00 . I can't bring myself to spend the money on the pricey one!

Wow, thats a crazy story about your dad. Kinda crazy the brush hog survived that kind of accident. My baler pto shaft is the same way. It don't like turns! Gotta make extra big headlands

Thanks Chris. My round baler has a CV joint too and it don't care how sharp I turn!

I think another advantage or disadvantage depending on your soil type, is that when the stalks are mowed they prevent the snow from drifting as bad

I like the stalks down on the ground to break down some before( I know you don't like the word tillage) I work them in ! Thanks Brad

Would be some nice no till beans with mowed stalks. Lol I hate when the standing stumps snag wires, chains

It can be seen coming apart at 14:45. There is a farmer buried with his shaft a few miles away from our home.

I'm noticing that the cornstalks are cut off high. Do you run the corn head high because the ground is rough or is that the nature of the old Gleaner.?
@cesmith45663 жыл бұрын
I run the head high so I don't lose as many ears ,unless there's down stalks. It also runs less fodder through the machine. Thanks for watching Greg
