I did make a critical oversight here. I re-recorded this video because the original recording did not meet my quality standards and I totally forgot that you get the 3rd magnify materia from completing this challenge, and I used it in this recording. I would probably put prayer where it goes instead next to healing. The overall approach is unchanged, but I do believe that magnify haste and manawall are extremely important, and unfortunately healing won't make the cut when compared to those 2.

I finally did it! After reaching level 10 and dying, it discouraged me a lot. After waiting a few days and tweaking some of my materia, I just did it before work lol. I spammed joker with Aeroga and arcade ward😅

I’ve been stubbornly trying a quake cheese “strategy” that I saw in a different video for like 2 hours. Made it to Tomberry the first run, lost, been getting my ass kicked in the first 5 rounds ever since. Karma. This looks to be a grown-up strategy, I learned a lot, thanks for the ideas.

Favorite comment of the day, thank you for that. At Gatabud, I always try the "grown-up" strat first before I throw out stuff like quake, brumal form, etc and this will strat and mindset will carry you through the remainder of these challenges. If any video for this challenge is saying use gotterdammerung then that is absolute nonsense because you don't even have that yet at this point 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also now that I have that, it's definitely a good accessory but it's not as amazing as you would think

It's definitely ramping up. I did this re-record this morning in 1 attempt though, so not horrible. I will not be re-recording tomorrow or Fridays challenges those will go in as the initial wins lol

I feel like the difficulty on the Brutal Challenges ramps up here. I beat the first 3. I had a little trouble with Round 9 in Challenge 2. But I get killed in Round 1 in Challenge 4.

Yes it does, it is a significant step up from the unending nightmare, but unfortunately the next round makes this one look easy. Practice practice practice though, this setup will give you what you need and today's video release will have some very in depth instructions on how I make the most of this build, so even if you're not on outer worlds yet, watch the Phoenix+kujata part

You getting 3rd magnify materia after successfully finishing this brutal challenge right? Shit so I dont know on what materia I can skip magnify, it seems impossible to choose from these three.

My magnify lineup is usually healing, time, barrier materias. Spamming haste, manawall, curaga on party is a recipe for victory

Omg you're right I recorded this with the 3rd magnify materia didn't I ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ Didn't even think about that. I would dump healing and consider prayer in that spot
