It's crazy. I tried this once when the demo came out and I avoided it throughout the first playthrough. Finally ripped off the band-aid yesterday and one-shotted all of them except for Two Legs. Thought I'd be on this for days but I blasted through it in maybe an hour with no practice. Wasn't easy at all so this is a mystery

I've tried Round 1 literally 100 times. Not once in round one did I get all 3 lanes using your same 3 cards. I counted. To win all 3 lanes, I HAD to use another card all 100 times.

I've made 150mill so far in dawntrail (not counting subs) with minimum effort and while enjoying the story at a leisurely pace. I prepped really hard for months, grinding venture coffers and stockpiling dyes, researching glam items to craft and sell, and it's paid off wonderfully. Sometimes people ask how to make money and I tell them and they say it sounds like too much effort lol. But it really isn't, it's super afk, I just send my retainers for vast quantities of materials and then bulk craft.

Nah, I figured it out. I was stuck on this for so long I forgot where I was at. I was actually in the other Yuffie Cactuar Crush hard mode mini game. Wrong location, haha. But, your video definitely helped once I fixed that mistake.

How did you start the fight with 2 full ATB bars with cloud ? The only way I know how to do this is with an accessory which I need space for the ribbon.

The first time I played this I had 95 points going into turn 5 and opponent had 20. They managed to get 77 points in that final turn for a total of 97 so I lost. I could never reach 100 with my deck though so thank you for the guide!

I gave up on this. You always run out of cards on the last few rounds. It's ridiculously hard.

I find your video to be very helpful and I struggled with these on my first playthrough. But I would like to make a suggestion concerning the "vehicles" shrine. What I do now is get that first ride like you do but then I drive straight to the back corner and ascend up to get on the wing and then drop down into the center section that has the 4-wheeled cart but I attach the shock and flame emitters to the front but WITHOUT USING THE CONSTRUCT HEAD. That way the weapons are all pointing forward at all times and don't end up blowing ME up, lol. Then I simply drive around and enjoy the mayhem.

Just like for Attack Up and Defense Up food, you can drink something like a Bright Elixir before entering that Shrine in almost total darkness. The effect persists inside the Shrine despite being a Proving Grounds one, which can be useful to know on the first playthrough. Furthermore, the reward for completing that Shrine is a Level 3 Bright Elixir, so I suspect that's the "Nintended" way complete it.

How are you starting out with a 500 cactuar? Mine only spawns two greens and two orange worth 100 each.

Hello Gata I know it may be too late to ask but I still require help on the crunch off game please its the only thing I need for the platinum trophy. If we can some how arrange something I will greatly appreciate it. I really hope in part 3 they do no more of these silly mini games, the every same gym game in part 1 was the only thing delaying my platinum trophy which thank god I had a friend that did it for me.

Man nice strat. Those numbers are insane. I did the opposite. I threw away the first four rounds. Used tonberry King, amalgam, shiva, grangalan, and yuffie for endgame. Only managed 117 but its damn fun clearing the whole board killing everything to feed tonberry king. And once tonberry is full i did a dual split with gi instead of quad split with chadley.

I just beat Gilgamesh for the first time and barely. I thought I was getting good. I was sorely mistaken lol. Good video.

Aa far as the first two 500 moving markers i usually do it by by flying into the left one when its still on the left then i fly into the right one when its on the right i dont wait for them to come together i miss sometimes but i get it about 90 percent of the time of course your way is correct also gatabud i think your way is better

Perfect altitude is the key but again there is a way towards the end to gain too much altitude this is going to screw things up

You know gatabud there is a mistake a made many times almost towards the end of the course there is a way to get maximum altitude i mean serious altitude you get so high up in fact that you can miss the 300 and 500 and 300 right before you have ti make the perfect nise dive this makes it perfect to get the last vertical 500s but again your so up that you can miss the as permentioned markers so if you do this you still must decrease altitude and for sure you will miss this is a mistake dont do it players

Hi gatabud i pkayed and win exactly like you even the way we got the last two 500s is the same we didnt drop into them we just kind of glided into them so any tips i give out would be exactly like yours you see you and i are great ff7 players winning for us just comes .... naturally....

Got it a few minutes ago. Changing the trigger helped a lot. Ah and a personal tipp from me is to get tifa in a swiming bikini. It dosent change anything but it looks good even if you fail 👍

They should have named this game Grind of the Kingdom, the amounts of crap you need to collect to upgrade the armor is horrendous, and they patch out the dupe glitches! For fucks sake, cut us some slack!

Would someone be able to help explain something to me? On the 1st round, if the opponent plays a chocobo&moogle and then places a gigantuar in their bottom left slot, then the gigantuar gets a buff which buffs the chocobo for some reason. Nothing else gets a buff if played in that corner with a chocobo, just the gigantuar. I'm so confused.

It's that last dive-bomb that destroys the run. Most people don't know that you can literally circle around between fans before that for as long as you like before reaching that 300 dive-chain. The last one... you can't dive too deep into it because on the way back up, you will overshoot the 300 and if you try to correct, you're not high enough for that last double drop. I learned that you need to pull up just a bit earlier giving you enough air to tap the 300, pivot and drop into the last 2x500's - it's a pain in the ass but not so hard once you've done it... so you NEVER have to do it again!

Thanks to you i beat this challenge. I was trying to have one blood queen, and 2 chimeras in the last turn, but that wasn't working. Your deck build help me a lot.

Very good strategy. But with RNG with the cards I had to mulligan and get I was able to beat Nightmare with 92-80 lol… I then retried with your deck again and won 120-76 and did nothing in round 5, with only a MAI lol

Hey Gatabud! I don't usually do this but thank you so much for your deck recommendations and explaining your strategy in such clear and easy to understand way. I managed to clear this in one try! (After restarting a few times at the start of Round 1 to get cards I want) While I didn't get the exact cards as you did in Round 2 and 4, it was through your initial strategy explanation I get to understand how to help me clear the game with 170+ points!
