I emptied the beef stroganoff into a freezer bag and cooked it with boiling water insulated by an Amazon padded envelope within 10 minutes. Not much more simple than that. The taste was very good and uses less water than most all other brands. Sorry, but I'm not seeing why the meals must be "cooked" in a pot. Actually, my next step is to try cold soaking the meals.
