Cite Martial market is in a new double storied building. There is a food court, a vegetable section, a huge clothing section, and a meat area. Open on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We explored the whole market and ate a great roti. As this is a market mostly for the local residents the prices are cheap, and there is no need to bargain.

The Chinese potato (we call it samcot) you can just peel the skin and eat it raw. I ate them raw as a snack. You can also cut it in thick slice and pickle (Confit) them in a jar with vinegar, salt, sugar and some chilli.
