@@epic6434 I don't know what you mean by that exactly. "Globalist" is usually an insult used by people who believe in racist conspiracy theories about Jewish people. So in that sense, obviously not and please stop believing in anti-semitic conspiracy theories. BTS are just a music group, they are very normal people from South Korea who all just love making music together. They care about issues like racism and inequality like any well-adjusted person should. And because they're Asian and face discrimination from people from many countries around the world, including the US, they spoke about racism against Asians to bring light to this issue.

Left to right is V, Jungkook, Jimin, RM, Jin, J Hope, Suga. At 2:11 RM did an introduction. After that the order of speaking was Jin, Jimin, J Hope, Jungkook, Suga, V, and then RM finished it up. The following are the interpretations/translations that the interpreter gave. Jin: "Today is the last day of AANHPI Heritage Month. We joined the White House to stand with the AAHNPI community. And to celebrate." Jimin: We were devestated by the recent surge of hate crimes, including Asian-American hate crimes. To put a stop on this and support the cause, we'd like to take this opportunity to voice ourselves once again." J Hope: "We are here today thanks to our ARMY (our fans) worldwide who have different nationalities, and cultures, and use different languages. We are truly and always grateful." Jungkook: "We still feel surprised that music created by South Korean artists reaches so many people around the world, transcending languages and cultural barriers. We believe music is always an amazing and wonderful unifier of all things." Suga: "It's not wrong to be different. I think equality begins when we open up and embrace all of our differences." V: "Everyone has their own history. We hope today is one step forward to respecting and understanding each and everyone as a valuable person." Whoever asked a question shouldn't have asked a question. Before the BTS members spoke, the White House press secretary said that the group wouldn't be taking any questions and would only be making speeches.

If anything, korean BTS helped attract more attention to this issue given their world wide fame and that use of fame, at least for me, is THE best use you can give since they are raising awareness. I'm kind of tearing up.. Okay I'm actually crying now. These men have been given some of the Highest platforms to spread their message. I know it's BigHit branding perfection, but I genuinely believe they understand the importance of their message that they started with the Love Yourself series. They've worked with UNICEF, spoke at the United Nations, and I cannot even imagine the pressure being one of South Korea's largest (non-conglomerate) exports AND the single largest boon to tourism is like for this group! They're estimated to add over $1B (USD) to S.Korea's economy annually. If you think there isn't pressure from the government? You're wrong. So proud of these boys (still, to me.. I watched the group go to Jungkook's High School graduation.. boys) for being absolute champions for their cause.

As a Pinoy Asian man myself, if you really want to stop anti-Asian hate just do us a favor: 1. Refund all police forces in blue cities. Including my s***hole city, New York City. Bring back all anti-crime units including the plain clothes unit. Full on broken windows. 2. Be tough on crime and not let criminals get a free pass. 3. Repeal cashless bail. 4. Invoke gun ownership and castle doctrine in all blue states and cities. 5. Invest in mental health programs as well as making them more accessible, helping more of the homeless, and keeping our city streets clean.

This still feels so surreal. They're such amazing individuals and proud is an understatement. Throughout their 9yr long career they've continuously reflected action towards the greater good, no matter how many times people have thrown stones at them they continue to be positive, respectful and polite. Love these guys! P.S Still can't believe I heard them speaking Korean at the White House. So beautiful 💜

We could learn so much from watching people of all countries making changes to allow these boys to bring their positive message, music, and joy to many countries. Please continue to protect and watch them grow in the future.

It's remarkable that a Korean supergroup would make such a huge impact that goes beyond the entertainment industry not just in their country but internationally. Not many have been able to do what they are able to. GO BTS!! 🌍🇰🇷♥️👏

As a german with many german friends who have east asian roots I have seen them being mistreated because of their heritage. Here in Germany racism against people without dark skin is often not even considered racism at all and thus still grossly normalised among young people as well. Seeing BTS, an international group often subject to such ridicule as well, do their part in such a high profile government, makes me glad to have people pay attention to asian hate crime, as well and not as “less important racism.”
