Since you asked in the video, yes, in Korean culture people are much more touchy bc its a way of showing affection to each other! Many of my foreign friends get shocked when they visit Korea bc guys are very touchy with each other in public places too. I think this is why intl kpop fans tend to ship kpop idols a lot, but really, you can see such skinship between guys in normal life as well.

Korean males touch each other easily but not that sweet(?) way lol they are just super close to each other like family because they've been always together for 7 years (even they all live in the same house until now) Not only BTS all the K-pop idol group live together for years by company' order. Koreans are more touchy and they show their love more through those types of actions. though there are exceptions..hugging in Korea is weird and only for really close people while hand holding and head patting is norma. However most Koreans don't voice their love. Its harder for them to say I love you...at least from what I've experienced.

Yes in Korea, people tend to be more touchy when they are close and comfortable around each other. Even straight males can be quite touchy to another straight male when they feel really close to that person and it is a way of showing affection. They hug, back hug, put arms around your neck snd shoulder, holding hands & thighs, waist whatever parts of your body....it is a way of showing affection and frienship. BTS members are a perfect example.

They (people in Korean culture) do tend to be more affectionate they'll ask you if you've eaten and stuff like that making sure you're well if you haven't they'll make sure you do and ask why you haven't and when you first give a guy your number that you're dating he'll text you a ton and stuff but hugging isn't something that you do a ton like how in other places you meet up with your buddies and you hug so much they don't do that often maybe because they communicate more because they value relationships. Even in other countries they'll talk about how affectionate people in Korean culture are I had New Zealand guest speakers use Korean tourists as a non example because they are way more affectionate than New Zealanders are. I think it's great and that everyone should be more caring and affectionate.

I was in Seoul in the summer for a month (2017). People do touch each other more in Korea. Male friends hold hands when walking. Of course, not all men hold hands, just some. Also females hold their hands and are super friendly with each other.

Yes, it's more common to touch in Korea - even amongst bros. It's because they are raised with the mindset that it's important to take care of each other, so older citizens see younger people (even if it's a one year difference) as a child to protect and feed. That's why BTS takes such good care of Kookie - because he's the baby of the group. It's also common to feed each other, so that's why you see videos where BTS are feeding one another. I think of it as a brotherly culture. ^_^

I recommend watching all of these videos. All are pretty emotional (especially Yoongi’s Confession) but are defiantly worth watching.
