The boys were literally exhausted. Before the awards presentations they hardly sleep and they review and rehearse ad nauseam. Their performances in award shows are insanely amazing and shocked me everytime. honestly not just BTS always does so so damn well, it's the whole music production industry is so crazy. the creativities in stage setting, the lightings, the camera angles, the music/sound productions, the all-rounder artist, i can't think of any live performance in english speaking countries deliever the same level of whole package. The crowd surely can feel the hype. Then on top their music are so diverse- you will find their own culture and bits of all musics around the world.

Jimin is one of my favorite dancers.. his movements are so fluid and I love that… but I just saw a video where he was talking about his timing being off when they were watching a performance of theirs and Jhope said he didn’t know why but that Jimin is quite often either a little behind or a little too fast in dances and he said he had to work on it and I remember thinking that about another dance performance but now I see it a lot. Wonder if he was sick or something. I mean mistakes happen they’re human. . But in fake love he’s extremely really like a full beat behind the rest of them through hobis part for sure… and he seems to have a hard time getting back on timing wise. Maybe it’s his fitness or breathing which is what he said he lacks… but I think he’s in great shape… but these are intense performances and stuff so it’s gonna happen. I just wish I never saw that clip bc I never would have seen it lol well at least I know Jimin is human now… I was starting to think he was supernatural or something with his smooth ass movements and somehow looking like he has no bones when he moves 😂

Thank you for your reaction. You are beginning to see why they are the biggest in the world - they do everything, and they do it all outstandingly well. They have fantastic resources available now, but back when they were starting and had almost nothing, they used what they had to phenomenal effect. These days, with big budgets available, they seem to consistently out-perform (never mind western equivalents - that more or less goes without saying, but) even other well-funded and successful KPop bands who are very big in Korea, and are incredibly hard-working and talented in their own right. Leading up to this they had been getting a lot of criticism that they were getting too "westernised", and the use of Korean cultural symbols in this performance received great praise from the Korean establishment - no one else at that time was doing it. In addition, Idol, in which they wore traditional hanbok, was a response to many haters who, frankly, would criticise them for the most trivial matters, and simply looked for any tiny offence they could find. RM and Suga had, in the past, been underground rappers before they joined BigHit, and were on one occasion on a 'chat show' at a rap festival, where they received very rude abuse from other rappers on the panel - the worst, BeFree outright to their faces called them "girls" for wearing make-up on stage, and accused them of betraying hip hop. Idol is in part one of their responses to that kind of abuse, as is Mic Drop. As their success really took off, he tried to apologise several times but BTS, just like they have never talked about it, have never responded. Class.
