Maybe the vibe is a little different, just because this is a collaboration from Ed Sheeran, but the message is just what you said... and the rappers just joined to this happy moment, in an excelent way, as the PRO they are... I'm an ARMY MOM, I'm the only one who likes this music at MY HOME, and I'm very proud of BTS and all they do... During covid19, deaf are having particularly hard time since they can not read other's lips to understand what they are saying with mask on. Thus, I think Bts is being very considerate with those who are suffering more than other in this hard time

Hahahaha! I love when Jin's name hit you! By the way, tattoos are still stigmatised in Korea but JK has slowly over the past few years since he came of age, almost completed a full sleeve and most recently pierced his eyebrow, too. And proudly displayed them at a recent concert. ARMY is always supportive of the boys expressing their individuality. 💜

BTS is full of surprises, even Jimin with an angelic voice raps from time to time. Suga likes his voice most and ARMY is waiting for their collaboration. So far they did one - Tony Montana by Suga ft. Jimin. There is only one live performance and recording is not the top quality, but still worthy watching and being floored by the rapp/vocals;-)

Agreed, he sings like an angel, his high notes are truly beautiful - but I have to admit Tae's voice is the one that really gets me - especially Singularity - it's so deep and just soooo smooth... it seems high notes in KPop are common but Tae's baritone is sublime and very unique.

I love how they focused on essential workers during the pandemic, janitors, waitresses, teachers, etc. and they used sign language in their moves at the end to be even more inclusive. That’s way too cool. Great reaction. BTS took care of us during the pandemic by putting out the BE album, the tiny desk concert and songs that let us know we weren’t alone in our struggles during this terrible year and a half. This song is a celebration of getting through it all together. And it’s a gift to ARMY for our official birthday, July 9th, when ARMY was born and named.

"This makes me happy" Sometimes that's all you need, right? Like I love intense and deep lyrics and a heavy beat. I love rap and having to read lyrics 8 times to get the doubles and triples and wordplay. But sometimes music is just music to make you happy, and I think this does that perfectly in a time that's been really difficult for a variety of reasons for a lot of people

It's so cool how the PTD MV shows us that the song is for everyone no matter who you are, what's your skin color, race, age, gender or even if you are a person with disability (incorporating sign language in choreography is highly commendable, especially releasing this on July which is Disability Pride Month). People hate it when BTS were being discriminated for singing Korean songs in the western countries, but it's okay to single them out or make a fuss for not singing in their native language, especially in English? BTS don't need permission in whatever language, genre or theme they use in their performances. Just my two cents worth 😊💜

Their “brothers” in almost every sense of the word. They genuinely, deeply, love and care fir each other. Eight years living together and in recent interviews they all want to stay together, get to know their children and be the, I think they said, the papa’s and grandpa’s in 20/30 years! They’re so devoted, loyal, respectful to one another. IT’S a BEAUTIFUL, POSITIVE THANG!

- JK actually has a full sleeve, hand tattoos, eyebrow piercing and possibly a tongue piercing. And yes, tattooing is illegal in S. Korea unless you're a doctor so JK probably said FU to that law since he has friends who do tattoos. 😂👍 - They incorporated sign language for joyful and happy and let's dance in their choreography AND released it during Disability Pride Month and we love them for it. 💜

A little more TMI about tattooing in Korea. Giving tattoo is considered an act of surgery so a Doctor's license is required, which is insane (haha) - due to the fact that it sheds blood of a person, so apparently getting is not illegal but giving is yet illegal, and lots of people feel the law need to be changed by maybe creating a license for tattooing and it has been neglected because it was socially accepted anyway. You can find many places giving tattoo and no one really consider it bad. However, there is a broadcasting rule or ethics for Major TV that tattoo is not allowed to be shown or aired. KZfaq and other cable TVs or satellite broadcasting stations are not bound by this law so it's OK

@@mayajangmi as mentioned above, in SK, tattoos must be administered by a doctor, which tattoo artists generally are not. So it would be fair to say that most tattoos are illegally obtained, even if the government closes one eye. The one in breaking the law is the tattooist and not the person getting the tattoo.

@@c.j.8088 actually I was an avid fan of Running Man (don’t know if you know this show) but I grew up watching Running Man and always found myself going to YT to search for funny old episodes of the show. Then the interest escalate to kdrama and kmovies because Running Man always invited actors/singers to their shows. But I was never a fan of kpop. Kpop was a no-no for me. I was one of those people that felt ‘disgusted’ whenever someone said they listened to kpop. ‘Kpop? Euw’ ‘they look the same’ ‘they look like girls’. Yap, that was me. Maybe because my YT searches relates to a lot of korean shows, YT algorithms recommended MMA 2018 video to me. During that time, BTS is already huge in my country but I never take port to know about them bcause you know, they are kpop. I am more familiar with Blackpink and Exo because they were regular guests to Running Man. Strangely, people kept mentioning about BTS, but I never saw them in any korean variety show, let one Running Man. The MMA 2018 video has around 20+ millions views during that time, so I got curious and clicked. Oh my, the Idol performance was the most insane performance I’ve ever seen in my life during that time (didn’t know MMA 2019 exist haha), I kept repeating that same videos for a week 😂. That’s how I understood why they are so so so popular. They didn’t get popular over nothing.

I don’t know that show but yeah that’s why their Run episodes exist because they were never invited to shows in Korea so they made their own(as I’m sure you know that already 😅) I grew up in Hawaii where most of the population is Asian/mixed (like me I’m part SE Asian🇵🇭) so I grew up watching Anime and listening to music from Japan and then I started watching Kdramas on TV. I fell in love with Rain when he was in Full House and listened to his music. I also listened to other Kpop stars but remained mainly a fan of Jrock and Jpop. It wasn’t until 2014 I heard a bout a group that was really good hip hop. Then in the end of 2015 I heard a song (Dope) and loved it. But I didn’t research the group until after their Wings Era. So when I heard BS&T they hooked me forever 😍. And I was able to enjoy the next albums but missed out on what is my favorite era. So I went back to the beginning and watch their content.

I often think this: there are 7. They care about each other being individually and creatively challenged and yes... happy! They don't need money. They have common goals including taking over US charts and changing the landscape for future Asian/non-US artists. They have a tool chest like no other. Whatever combination needed. So, yes some songs are totally a pop vibe. But Jk, Jin and others thrive with pop vocals. Those rap songs? I live for those. They truly are top of playlist. But V and others are the biggest hype guys to the rap line. This is the formula. Care about each other's art. Care about each other. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Be competitive with all outside the 7. Yes, you're absolutely right! The outtake scene was them dancing with the crew, which are called "staff" in the K-pop world. Also, fun fact, BTS incorporated some sign language into their choreo, once again showing their thoughtfulness towards ALL of the ARMY, including those who are hard of hearing.

The other message of this video is diversity & inclusivity. Most of the gestures at the end were International Sign Language for ‘to have fun’, ‘to dance’ and ‘peace’. And if you see the teaser for this MV, the purple balloons signal the end of covid...hope.

The versatility of BTS is stunning. We never know what to expect and we love it. They have my whole respect for not being afraid to try diverse things and they do it impeccably. I already watched some of your reactions but you gained another subscriber today. I was happy to hear the vocalists names. They are top notch as well! There is no weak link in BTS. One more thing is they also used sign language in the song and so many people are writing on Twitter that they have friends or family who are deaf and they all started to cry when they saw the MV! If y’all didnt notice, the lines “dont need to talk the talk, just walk the walk tonight” were always sung by the rap line. 😎😎😎 When they took off the masks - that was also my favorite part.
