Gautama the Buddha " The Blessed One "was a prince. He new every things from "material world and all the stuff wich go with it ". When He went outside, nothing, just a bowl and a piece of clothe. His face was noble and His approach too. And He goes from places to places. Thanks to all the sadhus, He met. They helped Him ! Well, we know the end! Namo Buddhaye ☸ 🕉 ☯️

Again, a badly researched video. The four stages were a norm but not compulsory. A person can take sannyasa at brahmacharya itself. Austerities and severe penance were neither norm nor compulsory for Moksha. Meditation (dhyana) is/was the norm for attaining Moksha and becoming One with the all pervading Brahmana. Also, if Buddhism does not believe in mortification (subjugation of desires) then isn't it going against the very core Buddhist philosophy of having no desires. Isn't self-control (what you stated in the video) the same as mortification? Isn't subjugation of desires the first step towards rising above desires?

Bodhisatta whilst practicing the extremes of asceticism thought that 'pleasure is attained through pain' but having reevaluated his predicament he realized that the bodily pleasure born of seclusion from unwholesome states & samadhi was a pleasure that ought not be feared for it is disconnected from sensuality. Thus he figured that the highest happiness is attained through pleasure rather than pain and that the extreme mortification was harmful because his body had become too weak for proper training. This is in the Questions of King Bodhi sutta.

If you don't have your root identity, then that means what you follow is simply a bogus initiative for self survival, not spirituality.

Although video seemed a little bit negative towards Hindu path but limiting Sanatan Dharm to just Ascetism is not justful. There is Yoga and meditation path,Sankhya yoga/Gyana path(Destroying limited Ego and realising the truth that you are Brahman and not a limited being and everything emerges from you and sinks in you),Bhakti Path(Surrendering your Ego and your entire being to Bhagwan who is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, the creator of everything and the destroyer of everything and the Lord of infinite universes) and many more.Every path will lead you towards your Mukti or liberation. No path is against each other as I have understood in my studying of scriptures and from saints and Gurus and only fools argue which is superior and which is inferior.Everyone has to walk their own path with complete dedication and commitment. There have been so many saints who have attained enlightenment and the beauty of Devottes. As Hindu,I see Buddhism as just another root in the tree of Sanatan Dharm where many many roots are there. And the Varna Ashram system has been very very limited in India that it would not be wrong to say that it has been evaporated from Hindu society. This is because of the corruption of human beings.Everything gets corrupted in this material world no matter what.If only Hindus followed Varna Ashram system then people would have developed dispassion and renunciation for this world which is the main goal of varna Ashram system.Loved your video btw, just wanted to express some thoughts of mine.
