THIS THING LOOKS INSANE NOW!!! The Budget Build gets a custom aluminum tray and we modify the bullbar for FREE! I am super happy with the progress in just two days of working on this rig! Good job mate! I'd be really tempted to cut the headboard (above the height of the sides) back on an angle that matches the shape of the car. It's only a small thing but makes an aesthetic difference. Would I actually get around to it? Dunno, but I'd think about it every time I saw the car from the front. :)

raptor all the chrome around the headlights and do the grille and badge too bro when you do the tray and bar, you can get clear indicators no orange plastic from ebay too run amber leds, would look cool AF for a triton haha enjoyed it man, keep em coming, you could even run a heat gun over the snorkel if its faded real bad bring that plastic to new again

I reckon take the headboard and sides off, than just weld up a basic swuare mesh dox box crate in place of the headboard and shape to cab, also remove hinge’s 👌

You can use your angle finder on your roof gutter or sidestep if you want something to measure off for the angle 👍

Actually love this! Turning out really nice! I laughed at your other video when you said it's weird saying out-loud you really like the boxy, grandad spec JDM type cars, as that's exactly what I'm like. I'll see a 91 Camry wagon go by and nearly break my neck to get a better look at it! Ha ha!

It cost $350ish for a full service as well as the timing belt parts, water pump and all seals including tappet cover! Just rolled over 300,000kms

@@RoamLyfe the indicators/tail/brake lights are recessed and wouldn't comply with the rule about being a particular distance and angle & still being visible. It's why the Patrol wagon has its rear indicators in the bumper. I forget chapter & verse but other mate was right, 90% of decent looking modified trucks aren't compliant, either, and will only be a problem when getting a safety cert (if you're selling/changing registered owners) or you're unlucky enough to get pulled over for a roadside inspection.
