This is not appropriate for a budgie/or any pet bird---Like giving alcohol to a baby would be classed as child-abuse :(

joanne devlin well he is not really drinking it, dont worry. he just likes the can because he can see that we drink from it :) he reacts the same if i take a bite of some food, then he wants a piece too XD

The heading says BUDGIE DRINKING BEER & he certainly looks like he IS drinking it...I know when a budgie is tasting something. Anyhow, its your bird & sadly the consequences may not show for a while. Read up on Korsakoffs Syndrome in humans-this can happen to any creature that drinks alcohol. You may not think it is much he is taking in,but for his size-its too much..alcohol is a poison remember.
