Not only in Sairgao Tal it is very difficult building a house in the Philippines, frustrating and very discouraging almost to the point of giving up and return to the US. I applaud you in your perseverance ❤️😇🙏😎 your becoming more Filipino of all the knowledge like Kulas, he’s fortunate he has Kumar guiding him. 😎😇🙏 Love your tiny house ❤️❤️❤️ Tal maybe you can start an animal humane society type of charity 🧐

Tal, thanks for answering my question in detail and you pronounced my last name correctly!! I am so sorry to hear about your other channel losing so many subscribers. I watch both channels and have been following you since you lived in NYC. I have enjoyed your Egypt travels and enjoy watching your Sri Lanka travels just recently. I hope the Travelling Clatt channel picks back up for you. 😊 Your house looks homey and relaxing.

Thanks for answering my question. All I can say is guard it well - you've invested a LOT in it - and if you have to leave Siargao for travels, do make sure it's left with a very trustworthy caretaker.

By the way, you may have lost and have wasted a lot of money making your Tiny House, but those things you've mentioned where you say that you have learned so much about, I can assure you that the knowledge and experience that you have gained from building your house is more valuable because it's value stays and you will be able to keep on using it and you could even share it to anyone you want, and you wouldn't even lose any of that you already have and will own for the rest of your life. You could only add other things of value to it. So choose and keep in mind the best value that you can get.

You have a beautiful house, Tal. Every single aspect of it, including the leak marks on the walls and ceilings, is so welcome and inviting. You can be justifiably proud of what you have done.

Sorry to hear about your first channel. But I did notice that many long time travel vloggers getting lesser and lesser views where in some even stopped. My theory on that is (1) many travelers suddenly decided to also vlog their travels. (2) Many viewers will inevitably get tired of watching travel videos of places that will feature things that were featured and were seen already by very many people. But this time, viewers have gotten tired quickly because of the sudden big rise of newbie travel vloggers who seemed to go and vlog exact same places in almost exactly the same way as the other newbies have. It was fun and had variety before, but after the pandemic, I mostly only see just the well known tourists places in Philippines. They don't even try to get just a little bit adventurous and explore somewhere else for a little bit, and then out to the next well known tourist place. A big difference with the fun and excitement you get with travel vlogs done before and up to now still by you and the others who truly love not just mere traveling to a place that you haven't been before but more the exploring and discovering, and trying different adventures.

Finally & it’s looking like a proper home. Ideal for Airbnb. Hope ur caretaker lives nearby to keep an eye or install cctv just in case. Its stressful with all that process of u being let down by number of people. U get that anywhere. All in all as a viewer we’re happy it’s done & cross fingers no more leakages in future. It’s a home u can proudly say built from scratch as we saw it from the beginning starting to take it shape. Congrats & enjoy it. Well done to Jeff, good deeds are rewarded in many folds. Keep up the good work.

Tal is tired of travelling the world .Same color of the sky we look up , same color of the tree leaves around and same chaotic city if you go in the city. Tal is enjoying the beach in Siargao .For me Im happy in simple things , simple house ,simple life .Keep your land and house in Siargao Tal , its not that easy to find a place called a home .In USA very expensive ,even crime and violence is greater than Philippines. Even I love rural provincial Life . Its not that easy to travel and travel but I like your storytelling about your travel .

yeah our country is beautiful, relxing, but because some of the skilled workers are already outside the country to make money to support their family, and some of them are still making their experience in Manila, that's why it's so difficult to find, if they have a good salary in our country then why do we go out of our own country to work abroad?, that's why y'all foreigners coming to visit in our country to supporting us for better economy, thanks to y'all.

Building a new house whatever size is worth all the pain difficulties mistakes scams once it has been completed. There will always be errors damages somewhere bec there is no perfect house or building construction. We learn from our experiences and move on to our next journey . Be glad for all your blessings and we pray for your success in whatever you do. God bless you always. 🙏 ❤😅

If ever some foreigner planning to build a home in ph. I suggest do not get contractors. Better locals Laborer. Per hr. Cost only 500 or 700 pesos per day it depends if you shoulder the workers foods.

Hey mate ! Been watching some of your KZfaq videos and absolutely love them ! I’m wanting to visit Siargao so bad ! I’ve been living bali for the last 5 years , and ready for a move ! Just wanted to ask if you have any advice on how a foreigner can buy a property in Siargao , or do what you did and build your own tiny home ? As a foreigner is it possible to build a tiny home on land that you have leased ? Or do you have to buy a property that is already built ? Cheers mate
@AnnaJames-ed6nl5 ай бұрын
Its been discussed in the video mate.

@@AnnaJames-ed6nlI did watch , and you said that you leased the land . Didn’t say much about if you are allowed To construct your building . I’m guessing that you are , as your series has been about building from scratch . Only recently found your channel so just catching up on some vids . Can I also ask what visa you are on ? So I can do some research on how to get a similar visa . Would be much appreciated . Thank you

Are there rules on the design factors of the house ? Or is it pretty flexible .

Hi Tal , I have a small lot in Siargao and also thinking to build a small tiny house like yours , I love to know Jeff also because I don’t know no one in Siargao and I’m living most of my life in 🇨🇦 and I’m kind of this life to maybe live back and fourth both of the country. That’s why I bought that small lot in Siargao. I need your thoughts expenses and contractor wise. Where can email you. Thanks ! I seen your video tru my Facebook I followed it and curious to know the outcome then it looks like you stop filming , and finally I found this video . I was in Siargao last year that was my first time . I am canadian citizen so it’s was name by my brother 😂. Anyways , I want to know really a good trusted contractor . Thanks much .
