Hello everybody! If you haven't noticed, we have taken a bit of a break from KZfaq recently. Needless to say, we have been a little bit busy.
We sold our center console last year and we missed being on the water. We tried to find something reasonable on the market but, as most of you know, nothing is reasonable in the boating world right now. Carl had a fleeting idea, and well, if you know us... those ideas usually come to fruition. We started this build in mid April 2022 and completed it at the end of June 2022. It is constructed from Kingspan insulation foam, epoxy resin and fiberglass. It took at lot of work in a short amount of time but we believe it was absolutely worth it. Join us while we show how we tackled this crazy project. This is part 2 of a few parts on this mini cat series. Hope you enjoy!

Where are you guys based?? This looks so much like where I grew up in suburban CT, I'd have been so stoked if I saw you building this in my neighborhood!

We used the 2” or 50mm foam panels sold at the local hardware store. I believe they are poly styrene foam. For the big boat we use divinycell foam I believe that is a pvc foam. Thanks for watching 😊

The big boat is still in the works. we were stalled out for a bit, waiting on parts etc. the small boat is to get us on the water now. Thanks for watching 😊
