Aloha, my brother! Ninja V is an amazing monitor. Top of the line. If you use it as a recorder, you will never need another monitor. But! If you use the Ninja V just as a monitor, it's probably overkill. If you want to use it as a monitor and a recorder, it's the perfect choice. Thank you! Thank’s bro. Appreciate it! I'll tell you a secret :) It looks nice in front of the camera but it creates a bit of a dark ambiance and they're super hard to keep clean. Next studio I'll try to avoid them. I'm glad you liked the video.

Hey bro. You can hang that wire by mistake and breake the port. Or the cable is gonna move a little bit all the time and after a some time, the port will breake :)

Have you ever thought of using the mini v mount batteries? They are just a lil bigger than the sony batteries and would last longer.

One question for the f3, you are not connecting it to the camera that mean you have to match the video and audio later in post. To avoid this you can of course go line out F3 and in the camera but you will loose the 32 bits correct? Because the camera has no 32bits audio.

Exactly! For me it's not a problem to sync the audio in post. It's a 10 minutes job a full day of shooting. And I prefer to have exceptional audio even if I need to work one more hour. For me audio is super important.

Salut Gabi Făina treaba faci te urmăresc si aici si pe celălat canal, oare cu rigul care l-ai făcut ai putea filma in Church si sa ai sunet bun la tot ce ce se întâmpla acolo ? La vorbit la cântat etc..?

in your opinion, the zoom f3 it could replace the sony klm-3 xlr audio unit?

For shure! K3M is bigger, and only 24 bits and comming with a lower quality mic. I don’t say it’s not good, but 32 bits is better. The only downside of F3 is the separate audio files that you need to sync in post. The audio quality it’s better on F3 and you will forget about setting up the gain all the time. If the quality is more important, go with F3, if you don’t want to sync, go to K3M.

You can do that! I don't want because the final recording in the camera it will not be 32 bits because the camera can't record 32 bits. So... I record only in the Zoom f3, but yes, you can do that if you want and you also can record in the zoom and the camera in the same time :)

Just some personal thought: adding a battery in the back will make the whole set up more balanced and actually eazier to hold. I have a similar set up like you and I found that by adding the zoom F3 will make the camera unbalanced. I wonder if someone have better solution.

Yes! That battery added to the handle balances the equipment front and rear, but the F3 on the side handle unbalances the equipment right and left. I can't find a better place to mount the F3 so far but the advantage is that the F3 is lightweight and I can manage the weight. I'll try to make improvements and make an update video for the rig 😁 Thank you!

Please make a video for a VERTICAL RIG which is essential to shoot Insta Reels / Tik Tok videos. I dont want to shoot in Horizontal and later edit it into vertical. I want to shoot vertical videos straight away. Please help.

So remember this is extremely unbalanced you can put all the gear and battery and zoom right behind the camera and have much more balanced weight good luck

Thanks for the advice! On the front - rear axis, it's super ok balanced, on the left - right axis, you're absolutely right, no balance at all. Personally, from testing, I've found that I find it more comfortable to have a side handle with the zoom mounted there, even if it's not balanced left - right, than to have it all back.
