You remind me of my childhood girlfriends. We had a small cottage house their dad built for us in the backyard, and their mom was Spanish so we had flamenco dresses and dressed up with makeup and tia Carmen's heels and had a ball. So nostalgic...riding our tricycles down the hill from their house, having pancakes on sleepover Sunday mornings, learning gardening from tia Carmen. You somehow exude that nostalgia with your whimsy.

Rachel Love, No matter what video you upload, no matter what project, it keeps reminding myself to go after my dreams. Your vibe, energy, the glow of empowerment that you carry in yourself is big and bright and even if you don’t know it. the Message of strength and self love comes through the bushes, even through videos like this, that are still awesome btw. You inspire me and so many other women to be empowered, to do things just for yourself and do the things you love. You have to stop apologize for you living and doing your best, we are excited for all the things you do. There is nothing to be apologizing for. We love you Rachel, you are awesome. Trust the process, it will be all good and just how it needs to be. 🌻❤️ PS. very Excited for the indoor projects, can’t wait for your magic to carry on in your house.

Nice. As an archery instructor, a few pointers I can give is to make sure you place your knuckle on your cheekbone every draw. The apex of the string should be behind your nose at every draw. This is called your anchor point and will direct your aiming ability to the hand holding the bow. Make sure you stand perpendicular to the target with your legs shoulder width apart and back straight, with your arm straight out. Don't hold the bow at and angle and compensate by bending your back like your friend at 9:16. The angle should be 90 degrees between arm and body. Your elbow should be turned towards your back to minimize the string slapping your elbow. With your drawing hand, you should also avoid what we call chicken winging where you pull back with your arms tucked in like at 9:16. This puts strain on your rotator cuff which overtime is bad. Instead you want your drawing arm perpendicular to your body and outstretched all the way back so that your chest puffs out and you feel your back muscles engaging. This will make drawing the bow much easier and you'll be able to make many more shots before needing a break. The angle between your drawing arm, chest, and bow holding arm should be 180 degrees. Also for a beginner, that target is way too far and you won't be able to figure out what you need to adjust. I suggest starting 12-15 feet away first. Another thing to consider is eye dominance. Basically put your finger out in front of you and close one eye at a time. Whatever eye that's open that doesn't cause your finger to move when you close the other is your dominant eye. You will typically hold your bow with the hand opposite of your dominant hand. You will need to switch your bow between the left and right handed version accordingly. Although you can also learn to shoot on the same side but it's just much harder. Of course nothing beats an in person lesson so look for a local range to give you an intro lesson. After you get a feel for the form down you can practice at home. Also remember to load the arrows with the one different fletching away from the riser (handle)

Great video and the property looks great. As someone who has done archery for several years, I would highly recommend finding a good pro shop in the general area and get some archery lessons. The bow you are using in the video has a draw length that is way too short for you, and I can guarantee that you will enjoy archery as a hobby so much more if you get started in the right direction. There are a lot of bad advice videos on KZfaq, and nothing will beat some in person tips from someone that knows what they are talking about.
