House Arryn is perhaps among the oldest and finest of the Andal houses in the vale with a long and storied tradition. Their seat matches this long history in its scale and splendor, sitting up top the giants lance keeping and eye of the vale from up high.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on Geroge R R Martins A Song Of Ice And Fire series. OK I know this has nothing to do with the actual subject at hand but question do you think that’s a great council of 101 set a president? or do you think it was just there to settle that particular succession issue?

I think the intention was to establish a president to avoid a succession crisis in the future. It was clear from the choice of Jaehaerys over Rhaena and Baleon over Rhaenys what that president was supposed to be. Andal law which 90% of Westeros uses makes it clear what most view as president. My take is 101 was meant to truly formalise it so it could be used to clear up succession issues in the future. But the question comes down to this, what is more important the word of a king or the rules set out by his ancestors. Viserys named Rhaenyra his heir, refused to change that when Aegon was born despite 101 and Andal law. It’s why the dance is so interesting as a war because both sides have legitimate arguments. So it all comes down to what you value higher a kings orders or the president set by the past.

@@billychops1280 - Meh, Rhaenyra's kids still had both high-born & Dragon blood in them though, same as those Hightower brats. 😄 lol So that never should have mattered. I mean, the realm would have accepted Joffrey Baratheon as their King & not caused any rebellion about it (even thougn everybody knew he was really just a Lannister), but then he went & chopped off Ned Stark's head like a psycho. Had it not been for THAT though... the people would have let him rule. Which brings things back to my point that it should be about who would make the BETTER king/queen. Not just who has a penis, or the right name. The Hightowers & everybody who fought for them, ALL broke their vows, and were terribly disloyal people, sooo.... they really can't sit in judgement of Rhaenyra, or anybody else for that matter. They tear the entire realm in two, trying to seize power for themselves. Rhaenyra & her children were better people in general, than Alicent & her offspring were. Aemon was a kinslayer, and it's HIS terrible action of killing his own half brother, which make everything so much worse, right from the start. And Aegon was a nasty piece of work, that everybody poisoned & killed after only 2yrs into his "rule", cuz he was just THAT terrible. It should always come down to: who will be best for the realm. Cuz I think we can ALL agree, that Rhaenys, the Queen Who Never Was, (and her husband Corlys), would have made for FAR better & stronger monarchs, than Vicerys ever was. And yet, nobody even thought to hand it to her, just because she was a Woman. Vicerys might have been a good man... but he was a terribly weak king. And that weakness cost the realm everything. 😬🐉🔥🔥🔥

@@KabbalahSherry no not everyone knew joeffry was a Lannister, many people just believed he was a true born and had ambitious uncles, and it doesn’t matter if u have highborn blood in u, because the minute your a bastard that’s all you’ll ever be seen as, I mean look at blood raven, he was highborn but during all his life people made up rumours and slandered his name because he was a bastard even tho he was actually a descent ruler
