I build a super tiny micro trailer RV on wheels with the frame of an old utility trailer for total size of under 32 sq ft total interior space. Jackery: shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=173271...
Zach's VIDEO IS LIVE NOW: • Tiny Glamper Camper Bu...

BUILDING THE GLAMPER: • Building Tiny MICRO 32...
GLAMPER MAKE-OVER: • Building The World's B...
I bought this utility trailer for just $200 and challenged myself to build a trailer that was beautiful, functional, and cheap enough to build. With the help of a bit of new material, and a lot of reused scavenged material, I will turn it into a luxurious solo micro RV camper. The camper can probably sleep two, but just barely, if another section was added.
The Jackery 1500 Explorer Portable Power Station: shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=173271...
Jackery Solar Panels shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=156864...
We also outfitted the camper with a Cubic Mini Wood Stove: cubicminiwoodstoves.com/colle...
The flooring was from Bigelow Flooring: bigelowflooring.ca/
We used as many salvaged materials as we could, from the parted out garage door sections for the frame, to the windows from an old camper RV we took apart last year. The trim was from an old house we renovated.
The wall sections, trim, and siding are all mechanically fastened with nails or screws and glued with construction adhesive to make sure they don't loosen up when the trailer is hauled on the road.
We added lots of extra features like an outdoor cook station that drops down, interior storage in open wood containers, drop down desk and fold up Murphy bed to free up interior space. The camper is outfitted with interior and exterior lighting, hook spots for cookwear and clothing.

"Self-Reliance" is an 1841 essay written by American transcendentalist philosopher and essayist Ralph Waldo Emerson. It contains the most thorough statement of one of Emerson's recurrent themes: the need for each individual to avoid conformity and false consistency, and follow his own instincts and ideas. This channel will approach self reliance from a modern perspective. and will focus on various build projects using modern amenities, and tools to build a completely self reliant lifestyle.

Great build, the only thing I would add would be screens for the windows, otherwise you may be fighting mosquitos. And Locks so someone doesn't steal your Jackery when you're not around. I guess you could move it to your truck but that sounds like a pain.

You had the very things he needed and he had the very glamping ideas you needed. For example: Fowler = TV, microwave, air fryer, hot plate etc. oh and a comfy bed. You: tables, wood stove, insulation, and overall aesthetics. Now come to think of it, Fowler had the very essence of what glamping means (you know, stuff most ppl wouldn’t bring to camp). So I’m going to say that 🎉Fowler wins. 🎉Now, let’s see you guys put both camper ideas into one!

takes a few thousand for this build. the reality is these are regulated and you would need land where the codes are overlooked. needing sanitation would be a major issue. water also. if i were spending the money i would suggest a large tent for $200, and 10 moving blankets from harbor freight for insulation and a large tarp to cover. 1 expensive warm sleeping bag and a car inverter (not the expensive unit seen here). the truth is 10 “homeless” would be far better off combining resources to live in a house like many foreigner communities do to get off their feet.

You win on everything but the cook station. A couple suggestions: 1) replace window on cook station side with a slider so you could access coffee pot or monitor the cooking from the inside. 2) might want to install a fold out roof extension that could be raised if your cooking in the rain so roof drip doesn’t fall on the stove. Great job, you have given me a project build

I love the outside look of the build & the cooking platform/ pan storage & the lighting. Inside I really like the desk & burner. I think the bed folding up against the wall is great in theory, but I think when its folded, it obscures the lovley window. Think it would look better & maybe offer a better solution by making a Sofa bed that would stay where it is & not fold up against the window. It would then look good in the day as a Sofa & be a bed at night. But I think its an awesome build & looks very cosy & sturdy too! Happy Camping! 😊 🏕👍

Woodbeard would have a bow in one hand and a beaver in the other, with his shades on, wearing snow overalls. Don just has his arms folded looking bemused.

I don't even have to watch Zach's to know that you'll win this friendly competition. Awesome build Kevin, you might want some curtains over the windows, just saying!

Fowler did a great job! Love the big bed and the orange camper. You both did a great job. In the end you win, I’d suffocate in his glamper. But lord he has every gadget and I loved that. Again, NYC mom here, choosing the pretty one. It’s obvious I know nothing about camping/glamping 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love my Jackery ❤️. I don’t have the 1500 though…even so, it’s a great little thing to have. I wonder…how many of these projects are really planned out, versus, just winging it - with what you have, and hoping it all works out? They all come together so well! (smoker #1 being the exception ☺️) I just finished watching the whole video - it’s sooo cool! I love all of the details! 👏🏻

Kevin WINS the glamper competition with his concept innovation, reuse of materials, creating multi-seasonal usage, simplicity of systems, his adorable wood burning stove, his helper DON, and his all around good humor and presentation. SCORE KEVIN!

I say you win the challenge because it's probably going to take Zack two or three months to get his video posted. I just went to his channel, and I don't see anything up yet. By the way, I subscribed to Fowler's Channel several years ago, then to the wooded beardsman, then eventually to your Channel. I think you should take a road trip with your camper to go visit Fowler.
