And the fact is for few cops actually face criminal repercussions for criminal behavior is ridiculous. Cops and I only need to be held liable but they need to be held liable to the fullest extent of the law because of what they do for a living.

I have no idea what the limits are there or whether they’re reasonable or not. But there’s a happy medium between “too quiet stock” and “goddamn that’s LOUD!!”. That’s where all my bikes have been. Straight pipe blasts in neighborhoods and next to restaurants are just stupid. And why voters start supporting these laws.

In a frustrated tone, the Sarge says to me, " I believe we may need a B.A.C. at the local ER. keep in mind this was a good bit of time passing by with the normal DUI/DWI field testing he had me doing. so as he mentioned the B.A.C., "i finally asked why do i need a B.A.C. test at the hospital, if i blew an absolute ZERO? I dont think my jug in my saddle bag contians any alcohol" He then says, "say that again, sir" so I pulled this SWISS TEA COOLER half gallon plastic jug from my saddle bag!!... 😂🤣😅 He WAS FREAKING FURIOUS!! He did cite me, i plead NOT GUILTY.. I WON! Because in his "OWN" testimony he stated, his EXACT question was, "Had you had anything to drink at all today or this evening?" In cooperation with a law enforcement officer, i told the truth in saying "YES, I have". He never once asked if i had consumed any alcohol!! NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT SERGEANT HATES ME, TO THIS DAY!! THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO, IN PENNSYLVANIA!!

The test is flawed anyway as it fails to limit the vehicle to use only at sound levels below the limit. The rider should also request proof that the sound meter is calibrated prior to the test in addition to the back ground noise reading.

All a PIG is, is a cost factor. You take these cars these pigs drive around in for example. Anytime in the summer heat you sit parked running an AC in any car it gets enormously HOT. But then the PIG does not care. Same as a stupid PIG will tell a motorsit at night to shut their engine off but leave the parking lights on while they go fuck around doing a radio check on you. Then the PIG runs around and EXTORTS motorist and does nothing about actual crime.. The PIG is a paid entity to steal and destroy and waste. In that video above that was a bunch of bored donut eating PIGS that wanted to try out their new acadamey equipment they were issued. These PIGS were told at the academy Go out and pull over motirist and try your equipmet out and learn how it works and the public motorist must comply. So therefore they use the motorist vehicle for their own education and hands on training and of course this is at the motorist expense. That is a quiet harley and has mufflers as to where baffles only are completely legal on a harley davidson and twice as loud as what is in the video would be allowed and they know this. I asked why and that was the first time I had heard about a pipe law. I married into a huge motorcycle family, and pipes are the lifestyle. I have ridden both quiet and noisy bikes - never really noticed a difference in how people drive around me. However, I make it a habit to stay out of blind spots and really pay attention to my lane position and to giving myself options if someone screws up.

PMikMech, please correct me if I'm reading your statement wrong. You seem to be saying that because the cop took his reading from behind and and at a 45 degree angle from the tail pipe that that made the bike louder. You can't be saying that because that doesn't make sense. The whole point of the test is to get an accurate reading of what the bike really, really sounds like.

Yep. At 45 degrees from the rear muffler the meter he is using is at about 20 degrees from the front muffler. Making it more in the direct gas flow from the front muffler. Thus increasing the reading.

I truly don't mean to be confrontational or sarcastic but that is nonsense. There are no front and rear mufflers. The noise comes from the tail pipe, the back end of the tail pipe where the hole is. To get the reading of the actual decibels, that's where you set up for the reading.

No worries. There are two. The front one exits just behind the oil tank where the rear fender starts and the second exits about 5 inches from the rear axle.
