If you are already familiar with how the game plays and would like to hear final thoughts go to 13:01 Consider this a PSA: If you are looking for a great solo player board game, look no further than Bullet (Heart). It has a True Solo mode, Score Attack mode (Solo Playable), Co-op mode (also Solo Playable) as well as a Competitive mode! Truly a must buy, must own for solo enthusiasts! In my excitement, I forgot to mention the art. The Art makes this game look great on the table. Also, the rule book was gorgeous! The illustrations included in the rule book were not only beautiful but it has lore and character bios for each Heroine in the game. Very well made!

I have NO idea why I've been sitting on this game for so long. It is completely up my alley. 1) Anime 2) Solo Friendly 3) Simple to learn, hard to master 4) Quick 5) Asymmetry!!!!!!!! 6) Tons of variety between heroes and bosses Finally just ordered it and I can't wait! Thanks! Going by what you listed here, it’s definitely up your alley! All of the modes are fun to play. Just a few weeks ago, I ended up getting Bullet Star (the standalone expansion/sequel). I’d be very interested in reading your thoughts on the game once you’ve played it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Absolutely love this game! Great review! The coin holders...what a great way to add a deluxe component to the game without having the wooden bullets.

@@donnakeferlis1649 Never. It’s been a very good alternative to the deluxe tokens. The coin capsules have become more expensive over time and the deluxe tokens may actually be more economical. Either way, if you find coin capsules for a good price, I highly recommend them.

Wsup SBGK! Thanks for this review of Bullet (Heart). I've seen it in lot of people's top solo board game videos but I wasn't convinced until watching your video. You have a great way of conveying why a game is so great for true solo gaming and now I am definitely interested in this game. Thanks a lot man! Keep it up!!

Thanks and you’re welcome! The art in the rule book is really good too! There is a section towards the back of the rule book dedicated to each Heroine and it looks great! There’s also some lore and character bios if you’re into that, as well.

I bought the 200 pack www.amazon.com/Hicarer-Capsules-Container-Collection-Supplies/dp/B07WL71TYD/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=25mm+coin+capsule+200&qid=1632707160&sr=8-3 and had a few left over. You’ll need 154 of them. If you end up buying the game, definitely pick up the coin capsules. It gives the game a really good feel.

@@SoloBoardGamingKnight oh. could you tell if there's still space left in the capsule after putting in the bullet? Do they wiggle a lot? I'd like to add some weight to their insides. Also, there is a png of the sight page available so you can print it out slightly enlarged, say 102%. That way the bullets will not bump into each other.

@@kosterix123 No, there’s no wiggle room with the capsules I bought. Also, they fit in the sight board, as well. For weight, I say go with the wooden bullets.

@@SoloBoardGamingKnight too late... you ordered the ones from amazon or from aliexpress? I also looked at the fan expansions (a gdrive from bgg and the L99 discord). Those expansions were never meant to be printed, but some of them are now, and I did some proofreading a few of them should be ready to print and add to your board game.

Ever since you made this comment, I had Bullet on my mind again. I ended up picking-up Star and the wooden bullets. The Zombies, Fireworks and News bullets did it for me. I have to check it out.

I love Warp’s Edge! The Anomaly expansion should arrive in the mail today! One of my favorite solo-only board games. It’s like Edge of Tomorrow but in board game form. You have great taste in board games!

About two months ago when I was searching for info on this game, a random comment mentioned the coin capsules. I’m not sure if they were the originators either but that’s where I got the idea from.

When I bought them, they were $7.99. Still, it’s worth it if you don’t have the wooden bullets. To be honest, I like the feel of the coin capsules just as much so it ends up being cheaper. @@mabos555 Funny you mentioned the expansion. I ordered it but there’s an issue going on in the industry (it’s affecting the entire world, actually) with the shipping containers. Hopefully, I will receive it soon. There’s also Bullet (Star) coming out soon, too.

The good thing is that Star and Orange are pretty much the same thing (Orange is an expansion that adds characters). You’ll still be getting the full Bullet experience! Let me know what you think if you end up purchasing it. Take care!

Seems like there's too much luck in it based on what you draw.

There is an element of luck when it comes to drawing the bullets. However, there is plenty of mitigation involved and available to the player. You each have 7 AP which gives you opportunities to move bullets to your desired position which set up patterns to destroy bullets. Also, each characters special ability comes in handy as well. It is a very well thought out and engaging game. If you find a chance to play a demo or play it with a group that owns it, I highly recommend you give it a try! Take care!
