I like Theme Park World

Now I want to go back and play this game. Absolutely loved it as a kid.

I imagine there are many people who played this game as children who have fond memories of it, but ultimately I have to agree with your closing statement, that it shouldn't exist at all - both how it represents Bullfrogs decline and for its quality. Many of its approximate contemporaries were immensely charming; rollercoaster tycoon, zoo tycoon, railroad tycoon 2, and even Bullfrogs own Theme Hospital was so much more engaging; just to name a few. Compared to these, the rushed and haphazard development of Theme Park World really shows. With its surface level detail and presentation style it could only really hold the attention of simple children, and when compared to those above it and more, it remained unloved by me in the blockboster bargin bin.

i have a gripe with your opinion; the game is meant as a THEME park therefore the cool thing about it is the themes so spinning rides arent to focal point of interest. I do think that there could be more rides though and i do wish there were, it would be really awesome for more like the playstation games and pc version combined in content. To stand opposing of your view, I would speak it matters not how similar or simple reskin a ride may be, the coolness and sillyness of the themes are how the whimsical nature be. Id love some more rides though that would be cool, however back then i suspect it may have been unfeasible unlike today. I believe this game was so well made that it could be modded with all our dreams and made realllllllllly awesome

As someone who has the PC and PS2 versions, I'd say your spot on with your analysis. There's also a PS1 version, which is similar to the PS2 version but I'm not sure if it's as cut down. I'll have to check. Anyway, I quite enjoyed the video! Looking forward to seeing more!

on your last opinion about the game... WHAT. I know EA is a tyrant in full abuse of its power but the game is amazing.

i found this game pirated in a flea market in malaysia lol i played it for like half an hour and never liked it, it's nowhere near as good as the original theme park was
