I didn't really - kept the factory H-Pipe - only made in louder & more aggressive with the shorty headers and the Bassani Axle-Backs. The Bassani's sound a lot like a similar to the FR500s. But truthfully I'm seriously considering swapping the Bassani's for a set of Pypes Pype-Bomb (Muffler delete) - just not loud enough. ;)

Nice ride Bret, I'm considering the Ford Racing headers for my 2008 GT, and I was wondering if you think they are worth the money?

I actually like the FRPP Shorty Headers - still give great sound, and they actually help keep the engine & engine bay temps down. Plus if you have a really clean engine bay that you like to show off - the ceramic coated shorties look a 1000 times better than the stock exhaust manifolds. As far as them being worth the money? Well - truthfully I can't notice any seat of the pants performance difference.

Why do the RPM's hang after you redline it? My 08' Bullitt does the same thing and I find it very annoying, and at time dangerous. It'll do it when the car is in gear as well.

Why mess with the Bullitt's factory sound? Sounds nice still, but...
