Join me in this Upstate NewYork BULTACO Museum as seen on SPEED TV. I got to get a sneaky peek of and figured I'd share. Nearly 100 + Bultaco motorbikes were collected and set up for show. I have no idea when this is open for public if it is at all..
Local Upstate Hudson Valley New York BULTACO clubs might know this collection and can give you any other info.
I am working above this and needed to access the plumbing that was located in the wall and ceiling of this floor of the building. The name "Weaver" is all I know..
That's all the info I have, If you want to see this in person I'm sure the info I provided will help find the right people to make that happen for you if it is even possible.
Enjoy! I'm happy to share. Hit the LIKE Button if you like It That helps me out a lot! leave a comment lets us know what you think.

Unbelievable passion for the Manufacturer and surely the most prodigious collection both private and public and this on display. Amazing. At a ridiculously low 5K per bike 100 bikes that is $1/2 million. I've spent 1/2 an hr searching for Bultacos until I found this buried in a playlist. Makes no sense.

The thumbs up logo was originated by the great All round motorcyclist but most noted for his trials riding Sammy Miller from here in Northern Ireland. He won world championships for Bultaco aboard his Works Sherpas but the logo came about when he rode their road racers and when he came past the pits would give the thumbs up sign to his mechanics to let them know all was well.

I bought a 1972 Bultaco 125 Pursang for $ 1,074.00, including shipping, from LA Bultaco and had it sent to Tacoma, WA. Won my first race with it by a mile at Jolly Rogers in Des Moines WA on Oct 1st. Loved how you could upshift under full power without using the clutch. But the Japanese invasion killed them and we all went Suzuki or Honda within a year. The Pursang weighed 230 lbs v 167 lbs for an Elsinore.

250 Pursang weighed like 208 how could the 125 weigh 230...I am quite sure you are wrong...on both counts. NFW 167 for Honda anything...the CT 70's weighed more than that.

Yes the end of the rainbow for Bultaco fans. This video needs either the theme music from 2001 A Space Odyssey, or More fitting, Ennio Morricone The Ecstasy of Gold playing. In my mind the most beautiful motocross, flat track, trials, and enduro bikes ever made, especially the ones in the late 60s early 70s. Works of art. My favorites, 71-73 Pursang and Sherpa T.

These bikes should be on the tracks on the trails, and on the roads. It's a mortal sin to have these wonderful machines just sitting there..........

that's Hugh's Bultaco for cripe sakes...any body on planet earth that knows what a Bultaco motorcycle is has heard of Hugh Weaver and family. He has been a Bultaco dealer since the 70's i believe...still is. He did own the "Thumbs Up" Bultaco logo for a while after Senior' Bulto passed away but I think he must have sold it as I see it being used on new "pretend Bultacos" as of late. I have read there is a lot more to see there. Check out the Hugh's Bultaco vid on here....

I was thinking what you said, when you said "awesome". This is a private collection?. Their enduro bikes are some of the nicest looking things made I reckon.
