No comparison here. Jamal literally carried Germany on his back in the last World Cup. Xavi has played with the best teammates all over the world and is only now resurfacing again. Xavi should be compared to the youngsters coming up at Dortmund. Jamal is on Bellingham's level, and we know where Bellingham is now; at a club on the same level as Bayern. Comparing Xavi to Musiala is like comparing Sebastian Haller to Harry Kane. 😅 The nearest comparison to Kane's level was the big guy whom he replaced at Bayern.

@@MassaMainio One of them carries his National Team and is indispensable, the other one sits on the bench and is not even number 4 in the picking order for his position there. Hope this cures your delusion.

@@MassaMainiohe has a point. You compare Musiala with Bellingham or Wirtz, not with Xavi. Xavi’s not even had half a season yet at Leipzig and this is already a comparison? It makes no sense.

@@sw33tialucard Xavi lead the Eredevise in goals, and has been part of 50% of all Leipzig goals this season, has more career goals and assists than Musiala despite playing less games. Yeah Eredevise is much weaker league but Simons scored 4 goals less in a season, than Musiala has in his whole Bundesliga career. Absolutely love Musiala but to say he is multiple tiers above Xavi is nothing but delusion.

@@MassaMainio Like you said, he played in a weaker league. If Musiala played in the Eredivisie, who knows how many goals and assists he’d have? Bayern is currently going through it with Tuchel, who to be honest, isn’t a great fit for Bayern and probably doesn’t know how best to put Musiala to good use. Like I mentioned earlier, Musiala and Xavi comparisons are not justified especially at this stage of the season. Compare Xavi without other younger, newer signings or something. Also, Musiala is levels above Xavi. He’s faced tougher opposition, he’s more experienced, he’s played in the World Cup and was arguably their best player. Xavi is great, but comparing with Musiala is a No-No, at least not now.
