This fella reminds me of Corinthians' own "talisman", eternal number 18, DINEI. If you want an interesting story from someone who in spite of being an international journeyman was a one-club-player through and through, look him up. Went from being an official member of the Corinthians fan club to a break out youth academy graduate, to touring Europe and returning in the late 90s to accomplish a feat that is unique and still unrivalled in the history of the club - he is THRICE Brazilian Championship winner for Corinthians, no one else can claim that. Even injured I've seen him come in 0-2 matches with 10 minutes to go and somehow scoring, assisting and pushing the team into a victory more often than not. Much like Origi, his numbers were less than impressive, but it wasn't how much he did, it was the impact of everything he did - absolute legend for anyone who's truly into Brazilian football, eternal "talisman". AaaWOOOP!!

Origi is one of the best finisher's I have ever seen. What do I mean by that? He was agile and could get himself on balance in difficult situations, he could get his laces squarely on the ball and fire towards a corner with either foot, even when ball looked like it was not in a placement position for a shot. I remember one of his last clutch goals for Liverpool was against the Wolves. Salah dumped the ball off to Origi who was coming towards near post. Divock had to reach back and receive ball facing away from goal. Now, most good strikers can spin 160-180 degrees and fire off a solid shot towards the far post corner. The goalie and the defender marking him anticipated that likely shot and shifted to their right a few feet -- that is what every good keeper/defender would do. Origin spun *210 degrees*, rocketing the ball hard where the goalie and defender had just been standing, accomplished with his weaker left foot. And he made it look so easy. Origi had some beautiful skills that most forwards lack. I remember watching him running to reach and pull down a ball over the top and drop it to a perfect soft roll on the turf -- I thought at the time: "Not even Roberto Firmino can do that." Origi's weakness is he was just not a natural player for Klopp, in spite of his obvious talents. He could not press as well as other forwards on the roster. And while he had some size and was good in the air, his holdup play was unreliable. Sometimes he could receive and control ball perfectly with two CBs crawling up his back. And sometimes a little bump in the back from a CB would put him on the ground and we would lose possession.
