Would you consider doing a complete rebuild on the 1965 Massey Ferguson 135 with the Z145 Continental engine. I know many would love to watch you do this as it would give more confidence on their rebuilds. There are lots of the gas Z145 engines out there and this would be a great video to watch and would be extremely helpful to those rebuilding their engines.

@@BundyBearsShed HI, i do not have a book on my Z145 or 134 but do you know the spec. adjustment on the clutch for the PTO backlash? I think the feeler gauge goes behind the hex head bolt? And one other thing if you will let me know about the flywheel bolts. I got mine buggered and wonder if i can just use a single thread bolt instead of the fine thread to coarse thread double threaded bolt? No one here seems to sell them and no one had the nut locks for them either.

G day Lance, loving these videos even though I’m not into tractors. I find the overhaul videos very informative. Don’t sack the camera man sack the bloody sound man. I think he’s had 10 or 15 beers 🍺😊 Great work mate 👍

G’day Lance, Sorry if this is the wrong area but i couldn’t seem to find a way to co tact you otherwise. I’ve just bought a little only mf65 with a loader which is coming next week and one of the things wrong with it is it is missing the hydraulic ram at the end of the loader the the bloke who owned it before me had just wrapped a chain around it to keep it up. When i was shopping for older tractors i noticed this seems to be a fairly common thing and as i cant find anything on youtube about how to find/pick a replacement hydraulic cylinder thought you might be just the bear to “shed” some light on the matter :) sorry couldn’t resist that one. So im a complete newby to tractors and hydraulics besides motorbike suspension so really dont know the first place to start with measuring the travel of the ram. What are your thoughts? PS: really love your channel and appreciate all the detail you go into, many other presenters in the past have complained how much time it takes to get the angle of the camera right and we all really appreciate the extra effort

bundybearsshed@gmail.com He has been posting that in the videos. You can also find email information on youtube channels that allow it to be posted. kzfaq.info/love/V7jOffH_nDSiWd8Qsfbrqgabout As for your cylinder you need to search the web based on the loader, not the tractor. That might net you some specifications on that cylinder. Otherwise you have to measure maximum and minimum stroke lengths. You have to specify the end types, the bore diameter, which may or may not determine the rod diameter.

G Day isuzumus31t, The loader hydraulic cylinders are often just bought by size. Most have 1" pins then you choose the piston size eg: 2"or 2.5", or 3" etc. I have some listed on my web site that might give you an indication as to what to look for. www.queenslandtractorspares.com.au/Store/tabid/91/CatID/2003/Hydraulic_Cylinders_and_Seal_Kits.aspx That will give you some idea hopefully.

Hi Lance, watching your channel from over here in nz. Always enjoyable content. Can I pick your brain...just put my 135 diesel back together after a long sit without oil and it just won't build any oil pressure, any ideas or tricks kinda don't want to put the front axel and pan if there's something else to try. Cheers Richard

Try priming it with an old fire extinguisher filled with oil down the oil gauge pipe, that might get something happening.

We've alway built with the engine oil type/grade that would be running with. Does Moreys go everywhere?
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed 5 жыл бұрын
G Day Duncan, Yes Moreys goes pretty well everywhere, it gives great lubrication for the short time a new engine can crank while building oil pressure and getting some splash happening. Permatex and others have great engine assembly lube as well.

Hey Lance, what are some of the causes of overly high oil pressure? Just curious. My oil pressure gauge sits right at the end of the white just before the red. This would be considered normal, yes? Cheers Matt
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed 3 жыл бұрын
No not normal, I did a video on the filter head and in that I explain about the relief valve and filter bypass, you can adjust pressure down with the relief valve and it only adjusts the top end of the pressure not the lower end.
