Bungy jumping in Queenstown, New Zealand has been the highlight of our time in New Zealand. In this vlog you'll see two of Queenstown's most popular bungy jumps, the Nevis Bungy Jump and the Kawarau Bridge Bungy Jump. Both bungy jumps are owned by the AJ Hackett company. They are professionally run, and we felt safe and sound in their hands... sort of. At least as much as you can feel safe while bungee jumping!
We started off our morning in Queenstown with Jordan and Julianne jumping from Kawarau Bridge Bungy Jump. This jump is 43 meters high. It was the first bungy jump to be established in New Zealand. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and you jump in to the turquoise water of the glacial river below!
Kara and I jumped from the Nevis Bungy Jump later that afternoon. The Nevis Bungy is 3 times taller than the Kawarau Bridge Bungy. For this jump you ride a little metal cart out to a small building that's hanging between two mountains. Then you jump from 134 meters above the ground. This is the tallest bungy jump in New Zealand and the 14th tallest in the world!

I went skydiving just a few weeks back and it was fantastic. Bungee jumping seems a lot more scarier from your videos omg

I've done 2 bungys 2 skydives and 2 wing walks. The 2nd of the two skydives and wing walks were a walk in the park even though my 2nd skydive was 5,000ft higher than my first skydive and my 2nd wing walk included upsidedown manoeuvres. My 2nd bungy was just as scary as my first and they were both done from the same height of 'only' 45 meters. I had to bungy twice because my first one wasn't filmed. So yes bungy is scarier than skydiving. Well it is for me. Most of my extreme exploits can be seen on my KZfaq channel.

I have been consuming videos of you guys since last two weeks. Quite obsessed with these vlogs I must admit. I have not been able to comment on each of the videos but this video made me comment my feelings while watching you guys. It was superbly captured, so natural and it made me nostalgic when I did flying fix two years ago in Hrishikesh, India. It was the guys from New Zealand who sets up something like this in India. I did the highest one in queens town between the mountainside. Wow wow wow. And was on a solo trip . Every family member after seeing was scared to death. But me njoyed the best adventure experience of my life.

I did a 210 ft bungee jump several years ago. That adrenaline dump is no joke. You have to be more afraid of embarrassing yourself than dying to take that leap. Good for you guys!

Hang gliding can sometimes be a fatal experience. My late father's best friend died during a hang gliding flight where the lift just stalled and down. He was experienced and was in his 50s. Sad. But glad all worked out for your friends. You both are brave to bungy-jump!
